34 and 32.1.6>14

I asked what to make of his behaviour towards me at the moment and got these two answers and have difficulties with interpreting them. especially 32.1.6>to 14 where it says that even luck runs out, but turns into great treasures? Any help is appriciated.

34 unchanging... Loads of power, whatever the problem is theres a lot of force around it.

Deciding and Parting Karcher calls this hex. I would say there's stuff to be discussed, action needs to happen, something needs to be brought out and you/he need to express your points of view clearly and decisively.

Lets break it down.

32 .1 Turns to 34, very interesting in your case after receiving it unchanging. This suggests that there's been some deep dark conversations between you, possibly that have gone a bit too far? (34) Maybe right at the beginning you/he went straight in with some very complicated stuff, thats just caused this backflow of stuff that needs to be 'decided' upon? Yi's advice is dont dig too deep at the beginning here i think.Probing at a problem that hasn't even manifested will just cause you more trouble.

32.6>50 Is about overstaying in a situation that has passed its sell by date. I think we have a tendency to hold onto security, a past that was stable that now, as is 'the way', has become unstable, and incompatable with our present directions. There is a theory that line 1 and 6 are 'outside' the general meaning of the hex, they are before (line 1) 32 and after (line 6) 32. If i use this method to interpret what 'Duration' and 'commitment' mean in regards 14, I get the impression that the Yi is asking you what value(14) there is in staying with with someone, or in a situation, that is not letting you reach your full potential (14).

I know your asking about someone elses behaviour, but often Yi addresses your position and your way of dealing with a situation. I have worded it in a way that i hope you might be able to see both sides of whatever it is thats troubling you.

thanx so much for your reply, yes we have been having dark conversations and it went quite far, but I can't give it up completely yet, becaus I believe deep inside that their could be a positive future for this situation... so I asked the iching again about the possible outcome with love and this person and it told me 44.4.5.>18 and that is positive right, because it tells me that I will get a chance to work on that which others have believed to be beyond repair?

I'm going to give you two different readings here, and i'm takin in the two casts from the previous post. You have given very little background info and as such, i think the only fair thing is to give you the 2 different sides to this casting.

one:

44 is one of those hexes that can drive you round the bend. especially when it comes to romantic situations.

Here's some general associations with 44. Sex, Addiction, meeting something/one that you cant resist. Thats the 'power' of the maiden i think. Its temptation in all its guises, a 'fling', a short term passionate exchange between two people that burrows into the mind and becomes obsessive or addictive.

Depending on your own situation, which You haven't really explained, I would look at these three readings with the little info you've given and say to you ' This is an addiction. The power of this addiction is massive in you. It's blocking out reality. Something that touched you deeply and that seemed to hold potential isnt going to happen. 44>18 says to me that you need to repair(18) your addiction(44) to this man. 32>14 says what value is there in continuing along the same path you have been travelling. and 34UC is just the passion and strong emotions that you have regarding the subject.

two:

There's issues with commitment here. Maybe you were trying to pin him down too quickly (32.1) and now you gotta deal with the consequences (32.6). If this is a fairly new relationship, (and this second interp is goin on that assumption) then 44>18 might simply be saying you need to have sex with the guy to repair the damage. 34 warns of going over the top though. especially with your language.


Its up to you with a clear rational mind to figure out which one of these makes the most reasonable sense to you, knowing your situation. I have a feeling though that this little triste has been playing out for quite some time now (32) and as an outsider i think the first reading i gave you in this post is more accurate. BUT i dunno anything about this apart from its to do with a romance.

thanx for the two interpretations,
this is a relationship that I am in for nearlly two years now. we lived in the same place for one year and then he moved back to his country (I am in europe, he is in canada) that happened in june last year. we have been travelling backwards and forward since then. he was supposed to move to europe late december last year, came, but only stayed for 6 weeks and moved back again, then I found out that he had an affair with someone before he came. but he/we decided to stay together (that was mid march). it was/is really hard to deal with this, especially being so far appart. I was in canada in april for 3 weeks and it was all mixed, had lots of stress because of this third person. but we still decided that we wanted to be together. now I have been back for 4 weeks and our contact is very limited at the moment and cooled down. I guess we both have to recover from the stress. I am very panicy as I lost trust in the whole situation and it occupies my life far too much, so the first interpretation fits very well. he is working on a solution to come here and the plan is now for him to move to europe in september. he is applying for a master at the moment and if he gets in he will be here for sure in september.
for me at the moment the biggest issue for me is to relax and live my life happy. I am just so full of fear and feel lost in what to believe anymore. it actually feels like an obsession....
And I asked the iching how he feels about me... it gave me hex 21...
