36.2 >11 re a memorial

Hi all,

While its a very personal matter and not easy for me to share it in public , I really need some help on a reading , as its important to make the right decision.

There is a custom here about 40days memorial service and I'm thinking to plan something special , that maybe my father would be happy to see it happen. Also , I feel , in a symbolic level , has something healing for all of us. I haven't discuss it yet with the rest of the family, as I needed first to think more about and asked Yi a simple question : " doing X for that day; please comment"... mainly to see an image and have something to reflect at. I got 36.2>11

In my guts, the feeling of this reading is in accord with the intention, however the "horse" in this line and the different interpretations confuse me a bit.

I hope you can assist in in decoding this reading and especially the symbolism of the horse. A personal association with a horse in Yi maybe obstructs my vision, so any insight you can offer will be much appreciated.

For me 36.2 is about sorting something out swiftly to get away from wounds and losses I think the horse here is the thing that carries you away from harm. Hence to me the memorial looks like it has the function of a kind of rescue of some kind. In this instance it's hard for me to say what function it serves but it certainly looks like a very necessary function...with the aim of rescuing. What it is the memorial will rescue I don't know. Perhaps it is family morale, family spirit, something needed in the family which is wounded right now ? Well obviously it is wounded due to bereavement and yet there still looks like somethingis to be saved here.

If you go ahead go ahead quite swifly as it gathers it's own momentum (hex 11) once you start the ball rolling it should flow. Looking at Hilary's commentary I think carrying through this idea of a memorial is good for you. Maybe it helps you rescue you. A horse is a powerful strong quick moving thing....so I see it as 'go ahead this will do you much good'.

Ah re reading your post this is the rescue ...the horse, the powerful force that moves you through the wounding is the healing you mention here. great answer !

Spirited spirit horse

36.2 feels poignant and appropriate and auspicious to me. Particularly the horse reference, which brings to mind aid, assistance, plus nurturing. Horses are very loving, especially female horses with colts. Family protectors and teachers.

someone named Liu says of 36.2: "The darkened light injures his left thigh, but he is saved by a strong horse. Good fortune."

I see that as the darkness of death injures the family's ability to move (on), but a strong family member nurtures them, allowing their spirits to flow freely again?

I have admired and benefited from your creativity and sensitivity, anemos. And would fully trust your way of rescuing the family's spirit. BTW, Episcopal Bishop Spong wrote a book called "Rescuing Your Spirit."

If I may add a personal note: when my beloved 17-year old Keeshond died, I dreamed a few nights later of a glowing etherial winged white horse floating down to the yard. She was there to pick up Keesha's spirit and conduct her to the wonderful afterlife. I was comforted and grateful and hope she'll come for my spirit too.

is the crux of my intention , for those here and my father too. HEX 11 and fan yao really makes sense now...

I don't know what to say or how to call it ...

Before sharing that idea to the rest and thinking about some practical matters/difficulties , asked Yi again and got 34.2> 55

after a couple of days a friend called me to say she saw me in her dreams. The scene she described was in the place I want that event to take place and the people , the people we are going to invite. She said there was a feeling of abundance/wealth and she mention that in that place she saw large luxury chandeliers spreading their light. I was in the middle of the crowd wearing a red blouse; red means something will happen soon .

that friend had noooooo idea of my plan so I freaked out when I heard the dream. Only today I dared to ask Yi about that dream. Got 45.2.6>6... goosebumps...

Swiftly is a key word. Everybody involved in the preparations felt that. Weird feeling . in many case an obstacle appeared and after a while a solution. There was a feeling of flow, peaceful flow. Also the engagement was healing too. Talk a lot, shared a lot in a very h5 way. There was a "sacrifice"

family members and some of my father's friends thanked me for organizing that gathering in that way. There was a joy everyone needed but I can't take the full credit. Hex 55 still feels literal.

thank you poised. I ought to give a follow up. especially since the yi reading were so literal, imo. H55 and the story behind is one of my favorites at Yi and get it, was so wonderful, like the universe hears you.

the memorial was wonderful indeed. To be honest , the title is not as I wish to be. Politically correct but in essence was about a celebration. That is what I said to my little niece that she is really sad because she lost her buddy, as she said; we can feel sad but also joyful at the same time. The one doesn't cancel the other, they can coexist. We can love someone and be angry with them sometimes.

when the time for the 55 unchanging thread comes, will share more. I felt it in my bones.
