Hi all,

I have a job interview in about 10 days. Nerves always gets the best of me - always. So I asked, "What can I do to make sure I'm not nervous for the job interview?" I got 36 unchanging. I can't really make any sense of it. Do you have any thoughts here? :)

This is maybe not the answer you were looking for, but personally I think the problem is not the answer Yi gave you, but the way you put your question into words : "to make sure I'm not nervous".
Often it is the case that the harder you try to be not "something", the bigger the "something" gets. As it says "energy flows where attention goes".

My advice would be to rephrase your question, something like "What can I do to be at my best during the job interview", or "What is the best way to display my talents and abilities during my job interview".
In this way you may receive an answer that give you self-confidence and stability during the job interview.:)
Good luck!

Well, it would explain why I couldn't make much sense of what Yi was trying to tell me. I'll take your advice and rephrase the question - I think you phrase it quite well :)

There is nothing wrong with your question.
The answer is Hide it.
Do't show it.
That's all.

You may be nervous on the inside,
Just don't broadcast it.

People go out of their way to tell me how calm I seem.
Which is funny to me, because they say this even when I feel
Very nervous inside. We can broadcast what we want via an act of will.
(Even if we are nervous on the inside. Just breathe.)

Voila! Brightness hiding now makes all the sense in the world! In a nutshell, "just don't let 'em see you sweat!" Gosh, that's easier said than done. Or maybe somehow concealing my nerves on the outside will help me relax on the inside. Oh man ... I hope I can pull this interview off! Thanks a bunch
