Greetings Clarity:bows:
Lately I find hard to determent what Yi is saying with certainty. Lots of the answering seems to depend on my own disposition and frame of mind so I am afraid that creating my own reality is not going to help me connect to other ones.
For example, I am trying to work along professionals in the field at monotonous but sensitive work at the moment. And even though it was said that chatter is not welcomed, we talk a lot, even for my standards, and I am hungry for sensible conversation, trying to recover balance in that sense still.
Given that bit of a feedback, I am not sure how to understand 39.5<15 as an advice for asking what my position at work is (what I am not seeing or knowing) as I am also surprised with the cast gotten.
Is that a picture of my personal opinion - I am limping behind, too slow and will get help, do I just need to persevere and I will be ok?
Keep thinking something unpleasant will turn out, my last job was slave driving, perhaps i am not used to this, more subtle methods.
If someone can give an outside opinion, would be helpful.

Hexagram thirty nine has a lot to do with situations which cannot be overcome directly or in the moment, but can be overcome with time providing the proper helpers are found. Perhaps that part is obvious, but, line five is the ruler of the hexagram and as such probably refers to someone significant at work, or possibly you. My gut tells me it probably refers to both.

The key is in the commentary on line five which says, “But because he is called to the task, the power of his spirit is strong enough to attract helpers whom he can effectively organize…” It appears that this is a task that you really are called upon to do, but it may not be doable right at first. You will need helpers, but there IS someone available to you, you will just have to discover who it is. I don’t think you are limping too slow, (although I don’t really know for sure) but more a matter of discovering a means of overcoming some situation.

Another thing that just came to mind here as I reread the line is the comment, “So that through the well directed co-operation of all participants the obstruction is overcome.” So to me that means lots of discussion is a good thing, not a bad thing. What position does the person hold who said you should be quiet? It doesn’t appear to be the right thing to do.

Hexagram fifteen is about humility and working in a spirit of cooperation with others. All are equally valuable, and all can contribute their own share.

I have no idea if this is helping at all, but I do think it is a good time to point out to everyone the dangers of reading for ourselves. (Not referring to this particular reading) Not that it cannot or should not be done. It is just necessary to be careful because our own emotions, our own desires, and our own egos get in the way. It is much easier to read for others than ourselves because we have stepped outside the situation, and are not emotionally embroiled in it. It is also true that different interpretations can be made for the same reading, and all can be correct. We have to be careful though, for it has been said that “an interpretation can be literally true, but totally wrong.” Our state of mind, our morality, and our humbleness all affect the quality of the answer we get. When we are not in a deeply spiritual state of being, we can attain the correct answer and yet interpret it in such a way that we are led astray, even if the interpretation is correct. That may or may not make sense, but it is something to think about. The spiritual world is deep and it cannot be fooled. If our intentions are not totally fair, we can get burned. If we are in a mental state of disrepair, the answer will reflect that. (This is not referring to anything specific to the reading at hand.) If we are immature, the answer will reflect our immaturity. If we are naïve in some way, the answer will reflect that also. It is important to come to the divination table in a spirit of humbleness and with a contrite heart, recognizing that the spiritual world is real, and is not to be toyed with.

Thank you Gene:bows:
I am not being belittled in any way, but a few words here and there to an overly sensitive mind can be a thinking matter...the project is quite big, people are needed, yes, and it is late and not going fast. Chatter may be slowing things down and as a newcomer I was advised (from outside) to keep my mouth shut and just work. I think perhaps energy wasted that way could became an issue.
But the spirit seems to be of a friendly kind, maybe i am paranoid from all the bad things happened to me and 27.6 gotten earlier seemed to confirm my thoughts on carefulness in terms of feeding - brain, mouth, in that sense.

Interesting that you should mention reading for oneself as up till lately, I did not have a problem per se, only with the insufficient knowledge, of the Yi, I thought. But since in this one instance where I was left guessing, I have found readings to be very much connected to my state of mind. Now that I have decided to let go of the issue and asked what phase the issue is, I seem to be getting a different response (53 and such)....perhaps I am being told i am a goose  for single interpreting casts.

But seriously, you seem to be articulating what I was thinking just few minutes before, it needs more than literate understanding of a text, a bit of a talent of seeing perhaps, and the flux of things to tap in? People giving detailed feedback could be right in doing so, then...we need to know a lot to be able to interpret maybe..even tho I did read to a lady from the lines I got myself so I was confident and she was quite taken, I think, how things got summed up in that way as it was quite clear a message, but she told she came up with the decision I would not in her place...Still trying to understand why many thought the same did not turn out that way....
