4-59, 59 -4 Same hexagrams for 2 different questions

Still in the throes of selling my property to the best buyer. I must get this deal over with in January (best time according to my astrologer). When I asked about a good sale through a certain estate agent, I got hex. 4 moving line 5 changing to 59. The youth submits - good fortune. Does this refer to my lowering the price as the agent had suggested earlier?

Then I asked if a certain friend who's evinced interest would buy it and I got 59 to 4. What do I make of it? 59.5 speaks of the king moving his residence.

I can't answer as far as whether to lower the price, but as far as the agent, well, the commentary in book three of the W/B version says, "...we have the idea of devotion...gentleness, readiness to listen." It sounds like it is describing the agent and saying that this agent will listen to your requests and at least consider them, trying to do a good job for you.

Hexagram fifty has always been a tricky one for me; I can only tell you what it sounds like to me. The commentary says, "When we are working at a task that affects the general welfare, we must leave all private friendships out of account." In other words, while it does not demand that we forget this friend, it is likely that the friend is not to be counted on. That doesn't necessarily mean friend won't buy it, but will friend do it as an "arm's length" transaction? That is, I suspect, the key. Don't give up other possibilities until this is settled one way or another. Keep it on the market until you are sure.
