41.6>19 what to concentrate on?

Hello all!

I hope everyone has been fine.

I would like to get your insight on the interpretation of 41.6>19 about the following concern of mine.
Every year starts with the anticipation of how it is going to be. There are hopes it will be better then previous one, thoughts of success, etc.
I knew for sure I needed to be making things better, but was not sure what field to address - career ( start looking for a better paid job), personal life (make relationship with my husband better by catering more to him and sort of forgetting about myself), or try to have a baby.

Therefore, I asked " what is the right thing for me to concentrate this year?" And received 41.6>. 19.
Not so sure what it is saying. At first I thought it is saying I have to give to someone. I thought maybe I should make more time and be there with cancer sick friend (go to every chemo with her, help her around the house even though she has a partner who takes a really good care of her and I talk to her almost every day). But now I'm not so sure.
Could you help me with this?

I like what Liu MIng said about 41: Happiness in life is not measured by your acomplishments, your reputation or the things you possess. Life is a process - the way life is lived. The Zhouyi recommends over and over again that we be ready to welcome happiness that is not the product of planning, trickery or concerted effort.

From a text-based perspective, the wings clarify that 41 is an hexagram about self-cultivation (cultvate your own virtue, your own character)

From a Wen Wang Gua perspective two things pop immediately:
a) The Asset line (representing money) is Shen (metal) and it is hidden under the Subject line (representing you), which is Chou (earth). That implies money is an issue, but it could be solved.
b) The 6th line is active. It is Yin (wood) with the Official/Husband relative attached. Official/Husband may represent your boss or your husband. It is active and controlling you (wood controls earth). The effect after changing is You (metal) with Offspring relative attached. Since metal controls wood, the Offspring will prevent the Official to control the Self. I would read this as a baby would change the marital relation in your favor.

Very elaborate indeed.

So I guees baby it is. The Chinese horoscope was saying that this year is a good year for that.
We have been trying but with no success. Guess will have to try harder.

Hi, line 6 indicates the end of hex 41, so it ushers in a period of new business and approaches.
What associations do you have with this line? Any place for you to go, where you gain servants but not a house? That is, a new job or project where others can help you?
Line 6 comment: No decrease, but gain there. No fault. Pure fortune. Gain by having a place to go. Get servants, but not a house.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I really had to sit there and think "How did that play out for me?"
And quite honestly I don't even know. Is there a possibility that it didn't, that I missed the occurrence of the changing line?

I read the line and the hexagram over and over again and still couldn't see how Sixth Relative and loverofknowledge came to the conclusion they came.

What to concentrate on?
Legge: The sixth line, dynamic, shows its subject giving increase to others without taking from himself. There will be no error. With firm correctness there will be good fortune. There will be advantage in every movement that shall be made. He will find ministers more than can be counted by their clans.

I don't remember giving anything to anyone throughout the year. Maybe I think in very concrete terms, I think of the act of giving something tangible - help, things. I do not remember giving. That is why I am thinking maybe I missed the situation where I had to give.

Sixth Relative talked about "a baby would change the marital relation in your favor". I think we have gotten closer in trying to get pregnant, but at the same time all these difficulties are staring to weigh on us. We both are getting very frustrated. And quite honestly I think my husband is more upset then I am with this whole situation.
We concentrated on the baby - counted days, scheduled doctor appointments and additional procedures which suppose to help. But in vain - no bun in the oven.

Loverofknowledge talked about business. There was change in my career. Looking back I am not sure what it was all about, it didn't kick start me amazing future. But I have to say regardless of this inner and financial turmoil I was able to be on the forefront of the situation a little bit and that was beneficial for my professional growth and growth of my confidence.

The line doesn't actually specify who/what is increased. It says 'not loss but profit him/her/it'.

So maybe it was telling you to concentrate not on what you didn't have, but on increase and profit in whatever else you can? 19 is definitely all about rolling up your sleeves and getting to work with it all.

19 isn't a super great answer for pregnancy. And 41.6 does say 'no family'. Of course that's easier said in hindsight, and I know nothing about Wen Wang Gua.
