41,6 changing to 19

I received Hex 41 in response to a recent question of what I should do about a situation that I'm in with a female friend of mine. We hooked up about 2 months ago and things were really intense for about 4 weeks, but it all cooled down as suddenly as it had started; mainly because we felt that it was just too much, too soon and happening too fast after the break up with her ex-boyfriend.

She then started a four week course at the beginning of June and it's keeping her very busy at the moment, so we haven't seen or heard much of one another for about three / four weeks.

We left things pretty much undecided as to whether or not we'd be persuing a relationship with one another or not, which prompted me to consult the I Ching because it has worked for me in the past. In fact, I got 41 twice today, once using yarrow stalks and then later again using online software.

I've sent a number of messages via mobile phone without any response, and I even tried calling her recently, but she didn't pick up. So I think 41 is telling me to back off and just let things develop on their own, less is more kinda thing, but I'm not so sure about the meaning of the top-line transformation into Hex 19 and Hex 19 in general. Should I be getting my hopes up?

Can someone please shed some light on this one for me?

In addition to all that, she's still having to live with her ex, while looking for a new apartment. Here I think 41 line 3 is self explanatory...right?

Hex 41.6 > 19 does indeed suggest that you persevere with your quest if you are sincere in wanting a relationship with her then your affair will eventually blossom.

Ah, this is a hexagram I drew not long ago in a similar situation.

I think the advice of 41,6 advice is very clear. By backing off and letting her be for now, you are allowing for feelings to blossom naturally. Things will fall in place to help you, though it will not be stable for quite a while. The line changes to 19, Approach: we attract people and things that trust us - and we gain trust when we allow them to approach in their own time, when they are ready.

And the result of my following 41 in my own case? Very good, so far...the gentleman has responded with increased attention
