Hi, this morning I found my dear cat dead on my bed. She had no problem. She left me probably while sleeping for an heart problem??? Anyway since it was a strange cat, it came in a very strange period, and since she arrived I had a very hard life, I was wandering about the meaning of such a death. So I asked and the answer is 42 unchanging. It might be that this cat had to be near to me in a difficult period and now something is changing (in positive) and so she decided to stop her mission? Please let me know :)

Don't have to say too much to your result hexagram 42 in this context.
But I feel very sorry for you. I love cats as well and strangely this night I dreamt about my cat who died in 2013. I loved this cat dearly, I knew her 20 years. She was also there in my hardest times and she was the best fellow of my mother in the final stage of her illness. She was always lying on her bed. After my mother died, I took the cat with me. And my vet, a very empathic person, who also communicates with animals said to me:
"Your cat can feel your sadness. She wants to take care of you."
And I said: "Hey -- I am much older and bigger than her, I am the one caring."
My vet laughed and said: "I think you are not excactly right."
And it was somehow very true, this cat really gave me so much peace and solace.
I don't think, and I believe you also don't think like that, that the only purpose of a being is to be there for someone in hard times. But I well can imagine that we are indeed put together (by whomever) in ways that make it possible to really help each other getting trough this crazy, sometimes beautiful, sometimes very difficult life. And cats are really magical animals I find.
