44 = the woman who stands in the way?

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts so openly. I can see now you weren't joking. I'm answering your thoughts honestly and sincerely, and I hope you can gain some understanding from my answers.
Everything I'm about to say, I say fondly.

Regarding ANY dream... intrusion into my real life? That's what dreams are for. Dreams are the subconscious speaking to the conscious for the purpose of integrating the selves. Regarding my 20-something year old dreams... here... let me elaborate just a tad on how I responded to them when I woke up in the morning 20-something years ago... "OMAGOD! WOW! Did that really happen? It did! WOW! That was a prophetic dream... prophesying my future growth and consequent marriage! WOW! I have so much to look forward to! WOW! I'd better write it down while it's still fresh in mind."
Alright... so I'm going to try your advice out Rosada... "Hey all that wonderful personal growth I've experienced just as I dreamt I would... STOP INTRUDING ON MY LIFE!" Hmmmm... is that what you meant?

Ignor everything I've said on this thread until this.
Now I'm seeing 44 as symbolizing the possibility of the unconcious sending up messages to the conciousness through dreams.
Could be an intrusion, could be dangerous, but could be wonderful, too!

That is mostly how I see it too, Rosada. Not just in Val's case but in general.
The relationship of trigrams in 44 tell the story, for those who don't dismiss trigrams as post origin. Heaven above is not of the conscious realm. Wind below is of earth. The approach is from below: conscious mind demanding the attentions of the spirit. And the spirit answers repeatedly (disseminating commands) in dreams, musings, synchronicities ? charging our emotions.

I've contemplated that myself. 44 has been very mysterious to me. But there have been 44 type experiences posted lately, yours included, that have helped shed more light on 44 for me. That's why I suddenly thought of that woman who at one time was so prominent a figure in my life. She's fitting into the mold of these experiences like OJ would have fit the leather glove if he hadn't been wearing the latex glove... perfectly.
Of course you wouldn't have seen it before... you've only just got to this forum... you haven't been through the volumes and volumes of dreams and readings and resultant changes I've been through (some pretty dynamic) since I've been here.
I just thought of something else interesting. I'll have to find the notebook this week so I can post the exact dates and quote exactly from the notes, but...
After I studied psychometry with Maria Papapetros, I ran around briefly experimenting with friends and family to see if anyone could do it. I have notes from 1980 or 81 of someone reading and telling me about a job I would get. It's the job I have now. She even saw the name of the parent company. I think she saw this job rather than any of the several jobs I've had in all those years before this because this is an important time in my life. And I believe it's no coincidence I unearthed the notebook when I did a couple of weeks ago.
