Hi everyone.
I asked the I Ching about a man I recently met.
We have a great connection, and I really want to be with him.

The thing is that we have very different backgrounds. I am recently divorced and have a child. He has never really been with anyone for more than a month.

I want to be with him, but I'm afraid of being hurt. I am afraid of falling in love with someone who is not ready to be with me.

So I asked if it was realistic to persue a relationship with him. If it would be good for me.

I don't really understand the answer. Can anyone help me?

Hi Anna

Your consultation addresses your uncertainty rather nicely.

45 ? Grouping ? Clustering: Particularly gathering together with like minded or enhancing people.

It involves the idea of having to make an effort to make it work, but carries the promise that it is really worth it.

The nuclear hexagram is 53 Chien ? Gradual Advance ? This is the energy powering the time. It informs the time of "Gathering together with people we belong with" in a way such as to say "This is a gradual process needing a little care an work."

Line one, here, represents beginnings where care needs to be taken to get the foundations right.

It talks of a time where you at one moment feel in disarray re. the relationship and at the next great attraction or closeness. It advises to reach out to the other (clasp their hand) and to touch them whereupon all will begin to come together rather nicely.

Your sentiment of caution seems wise though. Perhaps try a gentle reaching out at first?

17 here might be represented as, ?Going with the flow.?

Wishing you happiness
