I asked the oracle today how i can best deal with this situation regarding my ex, whats best for me, in general
I have this feeling that i am going to hear from her out of the blue and wont no how to handle it, as it would coencide with the pattern i guess, i see that with approach 19
The relationship is constantly on my mind to the point of exhaustion.

Just a little confused on the advice i am getting here although it seems good

would appreciate any help

Nine in the third place means:
One pushes upward into an empty city.

What is the 'empty city' here? Could it be that you have not yet entered into a new, more fulfilling relationship? Maybe it refers to a feeling of emptiness after the dissolution of the prior relationship. In any case, you need to move forward even into emptiness for the time being.

19 APPROACH has supreme success.
Perseverance furthers.
When the eighth month comes,
There will be misfortune.

Perhaps this means that you will approach a new important relationship, or that one will approach you. Maybe what you need is a new love interest in your life to get over the old one.
In the context of your question, could the 8th month be the time that your ex will try to contact you? In the Chinese lunar calendar, the 8th month corresponds to a period that spans September/October. Or maybe your ex will seek you out 8 months after the breakup.

who is it who translates that "eighth month" line to be about pregnancy and premature birth? That always made sense to me. Let your new ex-less self have full time in the womb--don't rush it--is how I would think about that.

Hi there Steve.
What I get from your particular answer is that there is a struggle to progress--maybe you would like to get back wiht her?
But--like you say- either you will have moved on, or, she will call you but nothing new will take place.
I get that idea from line 3 especially--the empty city- meaning that you'll move on up, but there will be nothing there,really.
The hexagram 19, means that in some way, there will be growth and progress--as one gets in a "promotion" of sorts,if you'd asked about work. However, in this case, it would more likely mean something like that you and she try again, or feel "sparked" again--but, not for long. 19 refers to a change, a growth of some sort, but one that once again, stops once it starts.
If you do get back together, it will be different for awhile,and will work and last--for awhile. But one or both of you will tire of the new way--it will not be "new" forever.
So, either you have to build on what there is, and grow, and work together from there--or, the new way will not last either.Maybe one of you is younger or older?Or maybe the relationship was exciting and you're thinking it still would be if you reunited?
You may or may not *want* to build anyhting with this person, anyway.

The thing is i feel like i would be better off without her we both did somethings in this relatrionship that werent the best
The thing is i guess that i feel a bit of a failure not only did we do things to each other but there were alot of circumstances that were not our fault that put pressures on us and also i wish she would stop and look at some of the awful things she did to me and to be sincere in aknowlegdement of this.
It really is a different one for me anyway I cant stop from thinking what if? but what good is that. To me there is allot not resolved but she is dealing with this in her way, silence so i am doing as she has asked.
But even she came back into my life , how would i handle it. Or maybe oneday she will call to clear the air, this could be what some of us have been seeing.
She is quite a bit younger just for the record
