Hope someone could see clearly than me.
My question to yi was: When will come into my life the man who will make me happy?

hexagram 47 changing lines 4 and 5 to hexagram 7

hexagram 47 depression. Indeed I have depression.
line 4 shows someone coming in a golden carriage. Even if I am depressed the ideal partner for me is coming...
line 5 shows someone with nose and feet cut off, maybe it refers to me but " Joy comes softly. "

hexagram 7
The image: In the middle of the earth is water (there is water again) Perhaps I will have the courage to 'fight' for a relationship together with my partner.

I would say the answer is yes.. I will finally overcome my depression step by step and I will have someone on my side but I asked when... Is there anyone who could help me?

Yi seems to be saying that you will get what will bring you joy, but only slowly and only after much suffering at the hands of people who are both above you and below you in status or position in life. You will need to be disciplined and keep your goal in mind. The answer to 'when' seems to be 'slowly.' I find that the I Ching does not answer 'when' questions directly, although a few people who have visited this forum said they had a method for timing . . .

You ask, "When will come into my life the man who will make me happy?"

Yi answers with H 47.4.5 > 7

For me, hexagram 47 has been a time of exhaustion when I have actually been or mistakenly perceived myself to be cut off from external sources of help and have needed to go deep inside myself to find my own connection to "Source", (H 48 --- the "Well" or "Source of refreshment")_ Perhaps Yi is telling you, "In this time of 'confinement' from external sources of happiness go within and find the inner 'man' who will give you happiness." The relating figure, Hexagram 7, may be referring to you need to organize your "inner army". Humans develop ways of surviving in the world by developing an "inner approach" to fighting our "battles" to survive. Some of the ways we manage this may not work as adults. We need to connect to an "inner" leader of the army.

nAstWr, when you refer to having "the courage to 'fight' for a relationship together with your partner", are you referring to a partner that you currently have or that you are hoping will come to you at some point?
