49.3.5 to 45 good fit?

Hello community,
exploring the community threads have been very nourishing to finding my way through the Yi and so I‘m venturing forth sharing some of my own results!
This-is about the new love relationship I’m in. I asked:

1. What is my position within the relationship?
Result : hex 8.4 > hex 45 (Seeking Union > Gathering)
2. What is his position within the relationship?
Result: hex 2 unchanging (The Receptive)
3. Is this relationship a good fit?
Result : hex 49.3.5 > hex 45 (Revolution/Molting > Gathering)

Background is that we are currently geographically separated as he had to unexpectedly undergo surgery for the final resolution of a 10-y old issue . Recovery time will be 2-3 months. May not come back to where we met.
My general take on it is that whilst everything is in flux, as always the key is to find centering/ go within; but importantly there is opening on both sides. As a whole I’m left with feeling calm and genuinely contented however strange that may sound - attachment & letting go all wrapped into 1, possibilities maybe

8.4 > 45 You’re seeking union outside yourself, with someone else. Perhaps this means you’re not quite in the union yet? Still seeking it maybe.

2 UC He is passive, following your lead. Or it could mean that he’s not really making effort toward this right now in the same way you are.

49.3.5 I think it remains to be seen if it’s a good fit. The timing is off right now. This will depend on waiting for the right moment. Pushing too hard too soon won’t work; if you’re really interested in this person it would take a few rounds of floating the idea out there or just moving with the tides of the times, keeping your inner interest, while seeking an aligned moment. 17.5 is the hidden line and this line definitely does seem to show a strong connection, I think sometimes it’s also one that’s challenging to make come together in physical reality. Like holding a fondness for someone even if you have to be apart. I would say it’s not known yet if it can work. For now, seems likely you’ll be holding a flame and not a lot coming to fruition just yet. There could definitely be hope though

Thank you Redoleander for so eloquently explaining these castings - precision in taking apart is great learning for me! It totally matches also how I received the hexagrams intuitively as I tuned into the words and the visual shapes they took …I still feel this overarching sense of contentment and wellbeing regardless the ‘nothing’s certain, just flux’ actual current state …go figure!

It totally matches also how I received the hexagrams intuitively as I tuned into the words and the visual shapes they took …I still feel this overarching sense of contentment and wellbeing regardless the ‘nothing’s certain, just flux’ actual current state …go figure!

Yeah I’ve been thinking a lot about 45 and love because I’ve received that hexagram a lot in romantic situations. Perhaps as the relating hexagram here it’s about bringing everything together at the right time? And, obviously, wanting to come together with others (in this case one other).
