Hi, I wonder if I have to take into account these changing lines? It is a bit confusing. I read somwhere that with so many changing lines you only have to see at the two hexagrams and neglect the lines. I should appreciate some ideas on this and help with the interpretation. The situation is a feeling of alienation of colleagues.
Thanks in advance

lines:
2. There's nothing wrong with you or with something you're doing. This should relieve some of your self-consciousness and self doubt. You may not receive much in terms of your own edification, but it doesn't mean you can't still edify them, assuming they deserve it.

3. You may not be like them in ways, and that makes you feel out of place.

4. This not only bums you out but it spills onto them; they can sense your sense of alienation.

6. Your form and presentation of who you are are true, your intention is pure.

H2 - Relax and be confident in yourself, be open to the right kinds of influence and change, be closed to those influences who or which harm you: you can't fool Mother Nature. And lastly, carry your own weight, especially emotionally.

Thanks for your impressions, meng. They are very clear for me. For me, this is one of those times that an I Ching cast is giving me a trill by the accuracy of the answer.
You give a less negative interpretation of the 4 then I do. I saw it as 'not able to cope with the situation'.
By the way, before this cast (50.2.3.4.6>2) I cast 'Brightness Hidden', in the same context, never got a Gua that discribe better my feelings and situation. It is a joy (sic) to discover so many layers of meaning in this Gua. It seems to be a node where many lines of meaning for me comes toghether. How strange, sometimes the cast seems meaningles and sometimes it seems overload with meaning.

I personally disregard all of the changing lines when there are more than 3. The less there are, the more important their message. I pay attention to just changing line when there is just one. I focus on the hexagrams, when there are 2 lines or more. I do look at the lines but only if they make things more clear to me.
