Has anyone heard of or know anything about 52(Mountain, Keepin Still) referring to a LOSS of love? This was given as one possible interpretation of my question regarding a relationship(or possible relationship). If this is the case, then this doesn't look too good, does it?

Don't think it says anything about losing love. But in any case it indicates pretty unequivocally that it'd be a bad idea for you to express or act on your feelings.

Hex 52 would suggest that you make no move of any kind for the present, just consider the potential relationship, you need to clear your head and stop worrying about the issue, you need to find true peace of mind before you can find an answer. This is not about losing love, it is about being alone.

your only considering half the story.

The TRIGRAM of MOUNTAIN and the TRIGRAM of LAKE make up the two sides of the coin we can call "PASSION".

The mountain side deals with (a) a loss of love, be it by death or relationship failure/moving-on or (b) unfullfiled love, an imagined love, and so 'blocked or stopped' - never to be actualised romantically. (generically it covers self-restraint that when doubled gives us discernment where we are proactively restraining our selves)

At the *really* GENERIC quality of mountain is that of BONDING (contractive) and so it covers issues that include sharing of space with another/others BUT it is an internal space where we benefit from the suffering manifest in passion. AS such mountain covers spiritual aspects (e.g. the suffering of Christ or of Buddha where that led to enlightenment or more so quality control, we learn discernment from the loss of love, from suffering)

LAKE on the other hand is also about passion and BONDING (expansive) but the romantic/sexual love that is in having a love now (and it includes self-love, narcissism etc in that there is the generic focus on replication as in the reference to a mirror etc)

Mountain this covers psychic gateways etc in that we may seem all at peace on the outside (Still) but inside there is a lot of work going on to translate sufferring into discernment.

All of the hexagrams of mountain bring out the self-restraint/discernment qualities:

mountaIn in bottom (self-restraint biases)

15,52,39,53,62,56,31,33

mountain in top: (discernment biases)

23,52,04,18,27,22,41,26

52 maps to both lists and we can read it as "With/from self-restraint comes discernment"

If our concern is emotional (and so you use the IC as aid in dealing with such situations) I suggest you try out the Emotional IC material:
