i have developed feelings for a close friend who is treating me very nice and we have tremendous fun together. i was wondering if i could hope for more that friendship and got an unchanging 52.

I’m just not sure that this answer can be taken by itself since your first question was also about the future. It was about if you can have hope. Don't lose out on the friendship as it is by fantasizing about what it might become in the future. Likewise I see 49 as saying if you can do this, if you can change your mandate of what you think you want this relationship to be and focus on what is true and real about the relationship as it is now, you will not regret it.

i do not know but this interpretation seems very depressing. thanks though! (and you might be right if coruse, it is just sad. i have a friend who is extremely blunt, realistic and suffers from depression. her reactions to pretty much everything in my life are always like this, ansd she is often right, however she does not seem to be very happy so i am always double sad)

focusing on the reality and not lpsing the friendship seem like realistic and good things to do that will not damage anything. thank you!

Your reading is not a reflection of my happiness… I can interpret your reading and be quite happy, or not, myself. The same is probably true for your friend being kind enough to offer her opinion to you.
