My question was: How can I solve the financial challenges of my present?

I found it interesting that there were so many changing lines, for a hex that speaks of gradual developing. Usually when I see a lot of changing lines, that typically speaks (to me) of a lot going on and usually a fairly quickly changing scenerio.

What I got from this was: lasting progress is through my gradual progress. Keep devoting self to the path of the Sage (patience, accepting, etc)

But feeling like I am missing the "practical" advice here ... I WOULD LOVE SOME INSIGHT HERE ... (thank you in advance!)

With the result of 14 .. I am assuming I am on the right track, even if I am feeling confused at the moment (seeing the bills, etc)

Thank you all for any insight ...

Not sure ...

In the time of great possession/ability (14), you must find ways to put down roots and seek nurturance in the rock of the mountain (53).

53 has been for me a time of slow gradual growth because the situation is tough/hard, or it is the nature of the growth at hand, in its own time. But, like the tree, I have had to find in-roads (cracks in the rock) to set my roots into. 14 for me has been my possession of a skill or ability that has great utility for another or myself, however I may not immediate see it. LISE (14) states "There is a higher purpose behind your abilities, behind all gifts from Heaven" and "Don’t expect Heaven to carry you though, its gifts come with the condition to use them and also use them free from egoism. The talents for living and loving are the really big ones. But small ones can also achieve a lot".

The practical advice might be ... Create a long-term plan, including all of your assets and ability (great or small) (14), and devise slow, consistent, and stable steps out (53) of the challenge you find yourself in .

OR

The practical advice might be ... Find the abilities (great or small) not fully being utilized (14), and create a slow, gradual, stable path or situation for financial health to grow in.

Its seems that your financial health is having to grow in some very barren or difficult soil. The reading might be saying: your financial health can grow and progress, but it will take some time, considerable effort, and all of your abilities, large and small.

It suggests that it will take time, there are no shortcuts here, but with persistence your financial problems will ebb with time. This is a slow hex.

Anyway, it suggests that you will definitely need assistance, so sooner or later you will need to make a few calls. You will also need to be prepared to take on anything that can reward you with a few dollars. But if you act sincere in your quest for help, highlight your problem then others will be willing to help but you got to seek that help.

Hi Ace ...
Thank you. I love what you suggest as practical advice. Probably reference #2 fits better. Perhaps this is why I do tend to feel a dis-satisfaction (or unfulfillment) in my work. Because I am not utilizing abilities & gifts (small & great) or at least that is how I "viewing" it. I do love your sentence about creating a gradual, slow, steady path for financial health to grow in.

I am going to go within and ask for guidance on what abilities I have to share and allow the roots to deepen.

Thank you Willowfox ... I saw a side of myself this morning (an ego side, so to speak). Who is afraid of letting people really know that there is a financial struggle for me or to the degree that I am feeling it. My youngest is turning 18 tomorrow and my mom suggested that we all go out for pizza tonight for his birthday. Yesterday I immediately said Yes and this morning started to worry about the money being spent. When I talked to her this morning - I said (honestly from my heart), that I really don't have that much to spend and she said to me, "I do" and "I want to do this".

Your advice feels right on .. first be sincere & truthful w/myself and stop trying to be in a place that I am not or be someone I not because I don't want people to see the truth. AND be sincere & truthful w/others.

I can feel a humbling & (heart) opening aspect to this all .... (as I am on the verge of tears)

Thank you -
Beth

Glad it was helpful. It is clear that the context is difficult, but you can strategize (or actualize) your gradual way to growth in these rocky conditions.
