55 to 49 for my Paintings

Hello Fellow Seekers,

I struck a terrfic deal with an Englishman I met online. He wanted to buy my paintings and sent me an advance of 200 dollars. All the 8 paintings he saw. I bought all the canvas and much paint, etc with that money. Strange how it came about - he happened to see a picture of me with one of my paintings as backdrop, and his ex-wife from the Chelsea School of Art said I have extraordinary talent. I have to reproduce the paintings on canvas since they are on board, and that made me nervous, but now I see that my Blue Madonna is looking even better than my original. He's planning an art gallery in London. However, I didn't hear from him for at least a month - till right now, when I emailed him asking if the deal is still on. And he immediately wrote back saying he's been extraordinarily busy, but the deal is still on. Just before I emailed him, I drew hexagram 55 line 5 changing to 49 for the future of my art. Is it as golden as I think it is? And when I asked if he'd buy my art - I drew hex 40. Seems good? By the way, the literary online journal Cezanne's Carrot will be showcasing my short story - The Enlightened Robot this March!

Hex 55.5 it says to listen to what others have to say about your art, they can advise you as to what to do and how to do it, this will be of great benefit to you. Very fortunate.

Hex 49 it suggests that there are big changes coming up for you, think, plan and you use the support and advise of others, your art will be liked, your art will cause your lifestyle changes for the better. So don't worry, all will be well, adjust your life accordingly.

Hex 40 now is the time to settle down and not worry, all difficulties to do with this transaction are slowly disappearing, the deal is still on and will be finalised in due course.

But I get hex 29 too for this guy - and since once again there is an absolute lack of communication from him - and I've yet to finish the painting I began for him, I asked the yi again whether the deal with him is still on - and I derw hex 29, lines 1,2,3,4 moving once again to 49. Is something the matter with him?

I'll be glad for your answers. Especially now since I'm back to freelancing and the money will be welcome.

Hex 29.1 suggests that because you have let the communications side of things slide you now find that you have a problem, so you need to find a way to contact this guy and soon.

Hex 29.2 so be patient because there is not alot you can do about it, you just have to try and make contact but it will take some time.

Hex 29.3 you must be patient and calm because a reply will come, so just carry on as normal.

Hex 29.4 just relax, then your business deal will go through okay, you are still in the game.

Hex 49 this is about change, a change from not knowing what is going on to being in the picture, contact made, the deal discussed which leads to a positive outcome.

Thanks so much Willowfox! Well, I did IM the guy couple of days ago and he readily agreed to send me some more advance - all I have to do now is send him proof ( a pic) of the first painting I am yet to complete. But now I can focus on the painting, having finally sent my novel out to a contest . It's surprising how busy he can get! He's a psychiatrist and says he's being an angel in a time of crisis for many. However, he was as warm as ever.

I'm back! Thank you everyone for checking out my creations. By the way, this guy's ex wife who was actually the driving force behind the deal suddenly died. So no deal. I'm more a writer than painter and haven't painted in ages. Writing and painting are two such different energies.
