55 Unchanging - Master Bedroom Addition?

I am considering a master bedroom addition to my house. My mother recently had a long stay in the hospital (8 months) and was near death several times. She had made a tremendous recovery now, however she is unable to live by herself - but not so bad where she needs to be in a nursing home. We get along really well, for the most part. However, I am recently divorced. I am 43 - she is 71. While my house is a good size, I still feel "awkward" if I want to have a man friend over. Awkward for me, her and the man - all of us. So, my solution is to build out my bedroom into more of a master suit and have more of my own personal space to retreat to, if needed. My mom is all in favor of it and is excited. We are in the process of selling her house and we feel that it will sell quickly. She would like to give the money I need for the house addition from her home sale.

So, I asked "what will be the outcome from the bedroom addition". I got 55 Unchanging. Great Abundance. I read this to be the time is right and do it while you can. it does talk about the fleetingness of the abundance - so that is my only hesitation.

Is it fair to say the time is right and to do it? that I may not get another chance?

Hi There

I would read that as its as good as it gets so enjoy the time and include your mother, the main issue is the fact that you feel uncomfortable dating in front of her and you seem to be dealing with the issue.

I think its a nice reading, the warning is that realise that these are good times and life is not perfect so prepare for this however you would know this in a family situation, your mother is already living with you so making more room i dont think would have many downsides.

As a follow-up - I wanted to share how this situation ended up. I know I always like to hear how things play out with these readings so as to better understand the IChing guidance.

While 55UC was very positive - it was fleeting. you all know how plans are... so we were planning to sell her house and move her in permanently with me and do the addition to my house. However, as time went on a little more, I decided that I just couldn't do it. I feel that I really cant live with my mother at this time. and she really is OK to live in her own place. It is down the street from me so I am really close. so the abundance was there - if we would have continued - but declined.
