Well you asked about you, you used the word 'I' and you also ask about the relationship. I think it says 'stop meddling', what you think is your business may not actually be your problem at all. The other answer is along those lines too.

Leave him alone, don't try to help. The line says that he does not go out from his door and courtyard and that is fine. I think this line is saying you don't need to go in and help. I think the 56 answer was cautioning you against making this much bigger than it need be.

In general, in my own experience the line is very much about what it says it's about, getting on with things and seeing them through to completion. This can amount to carrying on regardless of the 'blood sweat and tears' the 'work' involves. So I think this line counsels you to be strong, steady and reliable and just keep on keeping on.

I don't know that's down to you to decide. I really cannot tell how trustworthy he is via an I Ching reading. I don't know him, never met him...you cannot base trusting him or not on an I Ching reading alone IMO

There are probably people here willing to tell you categorically whether you can trust him or not, but I'm not one of them.
