Hello,

I am new to this forum. I was looking online for some clarity for my reading and found online clarity! :)

About a month ago I did a Tarot reading for a year. Everything mostly fine except December which was quite worrying me. There was the 9 of swords, the Moon, the Tower and the Hermit.
I couldn't be impartial anymore because I got scared so I wasn't sure of the interpretation
So tonight I decided to use the I ching and I asked what is it and how to avoid it

the hexagram that came out was 56 line 4 changing to 52

I am quite new to I ching, I mean I have used them now and then, so I would love to know your opinion on this

Thank you very much!

what strikes me, first of all,is how the moon, the 9 of swords and the Hermit are all related by the number 9. It is a harmonious reading.

angeles arriens says this: The moon is the external expression in the world of the Hermit archetype. The moon is the expression of of the authentic self in the world. Authenticity and and the expression of of our essential nature comes from going inward and reclaiming ourselves through contemplation, prayer and meditation (the Hermit).

This fits in with your I Ching reading which suggests a time when you are in flux ( 56), perhaps being dissatisfied with the status quo and knowing you need to move on in some way....52 is the suggestion for internal stillness and meditation in order to become clear.

the nine of swords is mental cruelty, being cruel to ourselves in some way, perhaps not giving ourselves enough credit or berating oneself with one's thoughts. The Hermit and the Moon (and 52) are the antidote to this.

I used to be afraid of the Tower card but i see it now as a signal for internal and external renovation, healing. Arriens says : "You are determined to to eliminate what is artificial and no longer useful". Time to dismantle, throw out and burn the old ways of expressing yourself, of thinking and feeling. finding your essential Self.
Like in 56.4, what once might have seemed like a good resting-place no longer suits you.

Makes sense.........not something to fear or be avoided, but a time for change and more deeply knowing yourself.

I don't know the Tarot, but go along completely with what Bamboo wrote.

You get something you wanted, only to find you don't want it.

Thank you!

This makes so much sense! I left civilization so to speak, for a while, and came to live in a small village in the North of Sweden but lately I've started to become restless and I would like to go back to London, but a part of me wants to stay and it's not ready, beside a lot of money trouble to top it all, and I have been struggling with this for a while
I guess it may mean that during December this situation and need for a change of pace I have gets exponentially stronger, with the Holidays and all
Thanks!
