58.2.17 what is the reason I didn't get that job

I had an interview on friday. it's been a final round of interviews. I've been even told I'm a strong candidate. everything seemed ok and for the first time I had a felling that the job is not reserved for someone who has someone influential to back them up. today is tuesday and I haven't heard from them. then I got what I believe is very accurate information that they hired someone who started working on monday. I plan to call the.company tomorrow to enquire about at which stage is the selection process. I asked I ching why I didn't get that job? answer 58.2.17. I'm confused. is I ching telling me I should be.happy I didn't get it?

Are you really sure you didn't get it? With such an answer I would be inclined to read otherwise. But if you speak to them regrets disappear so this phone call you make might shed some light on this. Let us know!

The other person has not got the position (line 5). It will be the weekend before any discussion will take place.

I believe I am sure, yes. the person who gave me that piece of information seems reliable.
I tried to call them this morning but no one picked up the phone. I called two numbers I have. I could easily find out another number but I won't bother.
I got recently advice from I ching that completely defied my own beliefs and gut feeling. the advice I ching gave me was quite bad.
I've noticed that in the past year I ching is not in tune with me anymore.

I managed to reach them. they seemed quite surprised I called. the guy that interviewed me was confused and he told me they will reach a decision by friday. I have a feeling he was caught by surprise and was awkward cause he was not telling the complete truth.
honestly, I have a feeling they are already having someone in and waiting to see wether that person is good enough

They've just called me and told me I got the job. I'm in shock and quite upset knowing about all the obligations that are waiting for me. Well I might consider myself lucky.

first of all thank you for encouragement. now the surprising news. I was there for the first day today and when I got home I thought about my day and I realised that I cannot take the job. I called them and explained them that I cannot take the offer. basically it was a lot of work for a small amount of money with more overtime I expected and crazy travelling hours. I was clear on the interview I am unable to work overtime more than once a week, and that I have no problem travelling, unfortunately I wrongly assumed and they wrongly assumed we mean the same thing. I really expected less intense job for such a small amount of money, especially if I take into account my experience and resume
the other person who I mentioned in the first post, who might might have been hired a week before me was the apprentice who they hired on a diff position and who also quit after two days and they hired a new one.
