hi it's me again

after asking "what am I for these people" which got 52>57 (52.2 52.5)
I asked "what can I expect from them?" and the answer has been 58>43 (58.3)

Is it telling me I should forget about these people I would like to work with? that I should be determined to cut any kind of relationship with them? (43)

thank you, hope to receive some illuminating hint :)

hmmmm.. of 52 Mountain. Two and five both suggest that same thing -- an impetuous tendency to leap in and (try to) take charge rather than stop, look, listen...

Line 2: "Stopping the calves, they don't rise to follow. The mind is not happy."

Line 5: "Stopping the jaws, there is order in speech. and regret vanishes." Wing says "Once you have centered yourself, your words will be chosen carefully, and outspoken or unthinking comments will be avoided. In this way you will no longer suffer shame or regret."

You mention in your prior thread that these folks sometimes seem to like you, sometimes not so much.... Probably they are regarding you as much as you are regarding them, and perhaps you've jumped in or tried to take charge a few times with less than stellar results, or let your ego dominate? Mountain is about finding your stillness so that when you move, it is spontaneously in the moment, rather than with some objective or as the result of forethought or plotting. (Rather Stanislavskian, no?)

Your second reading is probably a further commentary on your current state of mind. ("What do others think of me" questions are very problematic. The fact that you're asking indicates that you do not have a properly objective state of mind to understand the answer.)

Of 58.3: "What is inauspicious about coming for delight is being out of place." An old commentary appends "If one has no inner substance, but vainly desires to act outwardly as if one did, thereby coming on to people to get their pleasure, this is sure to put relationships in disarray. This is why people dislike the crafty."

Overall, take a good bit of time to consider your motives, your abilities, and the fit you think you'd make in this company, as well as the results of your prior efforts.

Consider also the nature of the people here. If it's a substantially closed group, the tendency is for them to become more closed as time goes on, and even if you gain admission you may not ever be one of the decision-makers. (From personal experience -- after working ten years in one theater department, I was still "the new guy...")

Both your resultant hexes are generally positive toward this endeavor. 57-Penetrating Influence is about quiet, consistent, persistent effort toward a goal. 43-Resolution is also about slow progress, with the additional warning to get rid of what is outmoded and obsolete. It may also indicate a moment of speaking truth to power. If/when that moment comes, the truth must be obvious to all, not a projection of your ego.

As a way of life, IC never suggests or requires that one "forget about people," cut them off wholly and unconditionally, etc. You might be required to let people go for a time, but never burn those bridges.

elias thanks a lot!

what you say rings definitely a bell to me

I've often asked myself if I really want to join them or if this has just become a sort of obsession..

Another friend of mine saw in 58.3 falsehood.
So as to what should I expect from them he said I should expect falsehood and pression. Which also rings a bell as they don't have a good reputation as far as honesty, transparency and ethics are concerned!

thanks again:bows:
