Hi, friends! Could you help me to interpret this, pls? My husband currently is in hospital with a serious health condition. He is there since January and i do not know what else should I do to help him to get back on the track. What is I-Ching's advice? 59.2.4.5. > 35. Thank you for helping me.

Line 59.2 suggests a need for positivity, a need to develop a fighting spirit, a need to eliminate his depressive thoughts, a need to have faith in himself.

Line 59.4 suggests a need to set his sights on the future and work towards that goal.

Line 59.5 suggests a commitment to getting better, pulling out all the stops to get out of hospital.

59 talks about dissolving things and 35 talks about making progress. Put 'em together: by dissolving something, you make progress. Okay, so what needs dissolving in this situation? You asked what YOU need to do to help HIM get back on track. Here are some possibilities:

* Dissolve the idea that you need to do anything to help him. Just be you.

* Help him dissolve feelings that are counterproductive, like Willowfox suggested.

* Dissolve your own feelings that are counterproductive. By being accepting of things yourself, you help him.

Maybe there's something else in the situation that needs you to dissolve it, but the three possibilities I've outlined above seem the most likely. Any of 'em ring true for you?

Thank You, Dobro. You are right , there are some things I need to dissolve, first of all those you and Willowfox mentioned. Just one thing is hanging in my head - some time ago he wanted to divorce. Could it be that I-Ching advices me to do that and his health will improve? Confused...

No, his health depends upon his own efforts to fight back, but sure he is feeling guilty about the things that he has said to you in the past, one reason for his depressive mood, another would be the thought of never getting better.

I have no idea, cuz I know neither you or your husband or your relationship or your situation. But keep in mind that the imagery of 59 is that of a monarch. You're the one in charge of whatever you decide to dissolve - it's not driven by him, in other words. Also, there's a spiritual dimension to what you're doing. And finally, you're completely justified in putting your decision to the test and carrying it forward. All the indicators are positive, as long as you identify what needs to be dissolved and carry it out.
