60.2.5>24 Job Change, Final Decision

Hello everyone:)! So, I've decided to leave my current job for the new one. Was going to talk to my boss next time I go in, which will probably be Mon. next week. Just to be as sure as possible I am making the right decision I asked the Yi to show me a picture of me leaving this job now, and I got 60.2.5>24. I took this as a yes leave now, the other venture will take a little time to get going, but it is a good move. Any insights are appreciated as always:).
Thanks,
:bows:Dancing White Ferret:bows:

Hi DWF :)

Ah! Limitation again

IMHO the casting is saying "Go for it now!"

60.2: The time is ripe, seize the moment! If you keep pondering or hesitating you may lose the opportunity.
60.5: Wilhelm's translation reads "Going brings esteem" which I would read quite literally. Maybe your current employer will realize your honesty in resigning when you could be easily two timing them?
24: A new life cycle is starting with this new job.

By all means, since hex 60 is about numbers, terms, details, make sure to comply with all applicable requirements (e.g. written resignation, notice period, etc.) in leaving your current job.

Would love to see other members' takes on this!

Thanks Cris:)... I like your interpretation, and that was generally my first impression of the reading as well, although I have to admit line 5 had me stumped. It had not occurred to me that they would respect my decision, but in light of the circumstances, that makes sense. They have always liked me and I am not leaving disgruntled or bitter, so there is no reason to think they wouldn't respect my decision. I think they will be happy to hear I have found something I can better support myself doing. I don't think they typically require notice. It's not that kind of job since it is a sales position and commision only. It isn't like they will be short handed if I leave, and I'm still a freshman when it comes to sales, so it will not be a huge difference for there profits either. They usually prefer you don't stick around if you are going because it puts off the other sales people, and considering my circumstances, I think they will understand my departure. I've always liked my bosses, and who knows if we may do business again some day, so I intend to leave on good terms. Thanks again Cris for taking the time to read my post and give your thoughts on my reading:). I feel more confident knowing you agree with my interpretation here, and it validates what I felt was the best choice for me. I'll update this later to let everyone know how it goes.
Sincerely,

I was thinking just today that if I were to name this hex 60 myself, I might call it - and I hope she doesn't mind if I borrow her name - Precision Grace! It seems less about limitations and more about right timing and correct precision. So I totally agree with cris' s take on this. the timing seems right, expedient in fact, and be sure to articulate/make clear the fine points as he mentioned.

Thanks Bamboo:)... It's great to get this kind of feedback since it is such an important decision. And, when I first saw hexagram 60 there, I thought, "Oh, no!" Until I read the lines. Then I thought, "It sounds like the the right move." But, I'm never confident about how I interpret hexagrams with more of a negative reputation like 39, 29, 60 etc. I'm always expecting the worst with those, and if I see anything other than some sort of severe warning, I always doubt my interpretation. So, thank you so much for posting your thoughts here. :hugs: to both of you.

I couldn't have timed my departure from this job with more precision:)... Perfect timing! Gave me just enough time to find a new place and a new job and get all my stuff packed, and I think if I had stayed there, I would have missed out on a lot of great opportunities. This reading turned out to be super helpul, and gave me the guts I needed to make that final break:). Special thanks to you, Cris and Bamboo:bows:!
