Hi,

I've asked the IC, what should I know about the news I received from X today?

Got 61.1.3>57

Hexagram 61 and it's lines are always a bit confusing to me, I can't pinpoint what is it about exactly, although I've read many interpretations about it, it is difficult to get a clear picture....

Thanks for the above explanation, if from now on I picture 61 with this sentence in mind it will be easier to get the feel for it. I couldn't relate much with the moving lines though.

Yes, I had the feeling of incompleteness too with regards of this answer, so when I read your suggestion I knew I had to ask:

'What should I know about myself regarding this situation?' IC: 37.2.4>1

I've just read these lines and their fan yao and it is difficult to relate them to my question, even more so the resulting hexagram, 1 !!!

Anyone's insights on this are very welcome.

Who are you to be within your family (internal/external)? You are "she" who either follows her whims or she who tends to her family. This sounds like a loyalty issue. Who are you loyal to?

37 is the effect of fire, which causes warm air to rise. You can see the effect in the smoke and wind. 57 is wind, your seal, who is moved. Will you blow away by following your whim, or will you nurture your nature, and perhaps those of others?

That's how it looks from here.

37.4 - Flexibility keeping everything in balance. A bit of give and take and a gentle steering.

Hex 1 - create what you want to create.

Whether these words mean anything to you.Whether you know these things about yourself now - only you can answer.
