I asked, what is the future of my relationship with X? bearing in mind that realistically, even proper friendship seems unlikely but I like this person a lot and they seem to sort of like me too and I just wondered, where is all this going. I had received 42 unchanging before for the similar question about the same person.

Should I take 61.2 > 42 as a reassurance that friendship (proper one) may indeed be possible?

Thank you both. This one couldn't really be a boyfriend, there is a Vast age difference, but he could be a friend, a real friend, not just an acquaintance. That's what I was wondering about.

I would still take it to be indicating good augury, as per my post above. 61.2 is about calling out, getting a natural and deep response, which leads to sharing. 42 brings in the idea of increase. So to my thinking this does auger well for real friendship.

Hi again. I think this hex may have just been predicting today. Chap in question was very chatty and wanted to discuss a joint project but I didn't really have time as I was meant to have been talking to another colleague when the first chap showed up and took over the conversation lol We'll see what happens next..

Yes, I have often found with both I Ching and Tarot, that a prediction may be very short term, not a huge pronouncement of the far future. For all that, it still is worth bearing in mind that it seemed quite positive in general. Best wishes.

What about the opposite? 42 changing to 61. I had a very pleasant meeting with an ex after 5 years and I was wondering if he would accept meetings from time to time. All sorts of things happened this week to obstacle our communications and plans, including the Paris shooting. My doubts are big, because it is really a fresh beginning and I don,t want to spoil again. On the other hand, I am not sure of his intentions, coz his life is quite hectic and he travels a lot. Could you tell me if 42 > 61 is a good omen?
