Hello all!

I was blessed in April and finally got pregnant. It came very unexpected. After years of trying my husband and I gave up and that is when miracle pregnant - we got pregnant. I was pretty dumbfounded and confused, could not believe that the baby is finally here.

However, our joy was interrupted by an ultrasound results. They shoes that baby's bladder is not visible. I had everything rescanned 4 times and the bladder is not there. They see normal functioning kidneys and substantial amount of amniotic fluid, but no bladder. First the doctors thought that it is a birth defect known as bladder exstrophy. But then they decided that the bladder just never developed. So right now we are trying to figure out if there is any chance for the baby to live without the bladder or I should terminate the pregnancy.

I asked "why babies bladder is not showing?"
I received 61.4.6>58
I think it says that the bladder is not there. The hexagram is formed with lines around an empty center. Just like two channels which move urine from kidneys to bladder are around the bladder. I'm just not sure what lines mean.

I would appreciate your help with interpreting this further.

Love, Vikk

Vikk, I am so sorry you are going through this with a much-wanted pregnancy.

The individual changing lines are, to me, somewhat ambiguous. They don't shout "missing bladder" at all, though 61.6 suggests something is not working properly, but from the wording of your question, it could be the scan itself.

However, the actual image of 61 is crystal clear and urgently jumps out at me in your situation:

Above the lake is the wind. Inner truth.
The noble one deliberates over legal proceedings and delays executions.

Replacing your name with "the noble one":

Vikk deliberates over legal proceedings and delays executions.

That tells me that you should delay termination for as long as possible, or until there is utterly no doubt that this is a terminal condition. "Legal proceedings" seems like a Yi way of talking about ultrasound scans, and "executions" is quite clear on its own.

Are you seeing a high risk doctor? If not, before you do anything else, find the nearest elite research/university hospital and get a referral to their top Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist. You need the most skillful and experienced doctor for this, so you can be completely sure about what is happening and what is on the scan.

I personally went through a very challenging pregnancy with many dark nights of the soul. I was blessed with a happy outcome, but the quality of medical care we got was what saved her. Sending you all the best.

Thank you so much for your response.
I am trying to find a different specialist in maternal fetal medicine. But as it us well known medicine in USA sucks, everything is at the mercy of insurance companies. My insurance is so shitty that it is barely accepted by any doctor.
Anyways, I'm going to dig more and maybe see if we have enough means to pay out of pocket.

Hi vikk,

"Why babies bladder is not showing?"
61.4.6 to 58 ~ The Truth will be communicated soon.

Line 4 ~ Your horse 'leaves' for a while, but returns around the Full Moon
Line 6 ~ Whatever happens, accept the outcome as the will of Nature

The Full Moon is August 26th ~ I like mulberry's advice on seeing a specialist, if you can? I'm guessing that you will have another ultrasound before you make any decisions?

There is hope in this toss for the miracle to keep unfolding...but, there is also valid reason for concern, at this point, too. It could go either way, is the way I read it?

My advice is to keep breathing and practice good self care as you seek out a specialist ~ stay positive, but realistic ~ never give up on Love, it's a powerful thing.

All love and blessings to you and your husband!

I hope this helps!

I am so sorry about your insurance. :( I'm based in the US but was lucky to have employer insurance at the time. That said, it seemed like many of the high risk research practices take all kinds of insurance (looked into it because I am now on a lousy plan and will be for the foreseeable future, if we have a second child), probably because they are treating rare conditions and need to cast the widest net possible for their patient pool. You can find which hospitals in your state have Level 3 NICU or Regional NICU (also called Level 3 Perinatal Centers, or Regional Perinatal Centers). Then check which Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists are affiliated with those centers and work backwards from there. No one should have to go through this much legwork when you are already under so much stress, it should be easy, I wish it wasn't so hard. :( But hopefully you will be able to find one top specialist at least who takes your insurance, even if you have to travel for it (hotel overnight is still probably cheaper than paying out of pocket). Sending you all the best.

I can't get a firm read on this casting beyond a gut feeling that it is saying no matter what (even just for your longterm peace of mind), you must "deliberate over ultrasounds" more and delay final decisions.

I'm totally with mulberry, delay.

Some more thoughts, after looking at the Chinese characters:

Why is bladder not showing?

61.4 says that:
- something is "nearly full" (so, not fully developed)
- one of a pair "enters a concealed place"
- and "no fault"
So I'll risk saying that the bladder doesn't show because it's not fully developed yet, and also because a part of it is concealed. The "no fault" sounds promising and fingers crossed.

61.6 makes me think that the ultra-sound is wrong. The reason I'm saying this is because there are two characters in this line (han yin) which can mean "writing pen + sound" - which definitely brings an ultrasound device to mind. In my experience the line shows words which are not true, untrue words which bring misfortune.

Furthermore, resulting 58 would be a good representation of bladder.

So my overall impression is (and I'm keeping all fingers crossed for you) that it will all be ok. Really sorry to hear you're going through so much stress!
