Hello. I just posted my experience of 61.6 to WikiWing, so this isn’t to argue or debate. Just wanted to share here for those who don’t subscribe or if it’s too long for WikiWing and gets deleted.

In this case, 61.6 provided a clarification, context and insight into what was being decreased, what business was being ended. I had offered a symbolic sword of truth and I was counseled that this is the extent of my involvement, so to detach and decrease involvement. I did not offer the truth itself. I left that to the person being deceived to discover and to wield the sword at her discretion. I simply offered the energy of truth. I also ended the ability of the deceiver to deceive in relation to me—much like creating boundaries around your personal info to guard against identity theft. To confront the person being deceived and telling her the truth would have meant an action that went beyond the mean. This is about respecting sovereignty and allowing others full power in choosing their own experience, because no matter if someone chooses to learn through joy or sorrow, it’s her right and everything’s gonna be alright. This is about respecting the law of sovereignty and non-interference. The Ruler tends to His or Her realm alone and doesn’t meddle in other realms she does not rule.

41.1.6 was guidance on what to do to keep inner truth aligned with the highest good for all. 61.6 was an assurance and an Admonition. Aplomb can venture into Arrogance if one persists.

aplomb (n.)

"assurance springing from confidence in oneself," 1828, from French aplomb "self-possession," literally "perpendicularity" (16c.), from phrase à plombupright, balanced," literally "on the plumb line," from Latin plumbum "(the metal) lead" (see plumb (n.)), of which the weight at the end of the line was made.

One stands self-assured, self-possessed and confident, like the cockrow greeting the sunlight of awareness and truth, yet must not continue beyond into arrogance. This would take us into 62, where the little bird must fly lower, closer to earth, rather than in the high heavens. Boasting truth in this way is for self-aggrandizement, not to render aid. Offering Truth feels like that little bird (30, double li) for some. You may have a bullseye on your back for telling the Truth. The core of how not to go beyond and pull oneself back feels very much like 15, with equanimity. 61.1.2.3.5.6 changes to 15, where line 4 is the only line that doesn’t change—the line where the horse loses its yoke-mate, perhaps thereby losing its balance. This reminds me of the Chariot card in Tarot, a card of victory only if both horses are aligned and moving in the same direction, the Driver balancing each with her inner balance of intention translated into motion. I recently received 61.6 after gifting the sword of truth—a prayer of discernment to cut through deceit. Further guidance implied to detach, so I wouldn’t go beyond the offer of the sword. Our Sovereign nature dictates that each of us alone must decided whether or not to use it, and whether or not we remain upright like a compass pointing north. We alone choose to see or not see inner and outer truth. The idea is that when one has discerned the nature of another or thing successfully, one must not boast, but instead stand in the heart of the truth with aplomb. Centered. Maybe those we use “aplomb” to define stand steadfast in the center of their hearts on the “plumb line.” We may inaccurately judge their knowing-and-understanding based self-possession as arrogance, but who wouldn’t stand confidently aplomb, feeling composed and assured, while carrying and using this Sword of Truth (much like the Ace of Swords) and successfully not tipping one way or the other? Which says to me that we are wielding this sword without judgment, as neither inferior nor superior, while seeing the one who stands before us as an equal, even if they do not stand in truth. Even describing this process makes me feel somehow victorious, because Truth feels like that when we stand without fear, no matter the outcome. We are poised, composed, detached, standing aplomb. We are not constant in our ascent, but place limits on how high we rise, like 60. We place a “galling limitation” to keep us honest. We simply remain constant in truth, not action. And so we avoid the pitfall that could come if we were to persist.

I want to add that 61.6 is the symbolic Sword of Truth. One could easily venture into using the sword in a 60.6 way-too bitter in articulation. We must remain kind and compassionate, while being severe in our efforts for truth. Truth is sharp. We don’t need to cut off more than is necessary. For example, cutting to the heart of the matter doesn’t mean to destroy a person’s humanity or feelings in the process. Slicing through illusion is enough. We don’t need to persist beyond this mean.
