I have just asked iching about my next relationship and I am so upset. I asked if I will get hurt in my next relationship. 62,3> 16Is that means that I will get hurt or that I must be extremely careful?

why are you asking as if your next relationship is already fated to hurt you ?

If you ask a question like this you are bound to get a confusing answer since it carries so many assumptions.

It's also a yes/no question, you are asking as if either you will get hurt or you won't and doesn't really make space for Yi to say anything else.

If an I Ching answer is so upsetting to you then you misunderstand it. Like over there in that thread you imagine your next relationship will be short and now you imagine it will hurt you ! Why are you putting yourself through this ?

It isn't all totally fated in advance. Why not ask about what you can do now rather than be the passive victim with no choice only waiting for things to happen to her. The I Ching is to help you make choices not to seal you into a fate of doom.

You are absolutely right and I would like to thank you all for your advice.
Most of my questions the last 7 years is a 'yes / no' answer and some of them about an advice. I use to ask all kind of questions.
Why I am so worried now...I had made a lot of questions before my last relationship and I knew in advance that it will be short and yes I was so anxious all the time. I had asked advice from iching so as to save it but it seems that I couldn't do anything. Iching answered me with the line 3 of hexagram 25 a lot of times.
So why I asked about my next and I don't like the answer at all.

H.62 is about celebration of little excess.

62.3 only advises us not to be excessive in defending agaist our fears in advance. Pursuing others to hurt us is very unfortunate.

Why worry? Better to choose a better position for enjoying life.

Actually I think I can change that...
My new question to Iching as a clarification:
Please help me to understand if I will get hurt in my next relationship:
Hexagram 6 changing lines 3 and 5 to hexagram 50.
I am so glad that I received hexagram 50.
Line 3 shows that my fears are from a past influence that has been already complete. A past wound.
Line 5 it's alright if I worry and be more careful.
Hexagram 50 I am able to 'cook' my future. Hexagram 50 for me is an affirmation that I can change my future If I am careful and correct with my next steps.

If anyone has any other interpretation to share please feel free...

I hope it will be so. The advice, I believe, is "Don't fear but go cautious" Don't accept any sort of abusive behavior. Neither explicit nor implicit. No woman deceives mistreat. Use your experience in your profit. Don't fear but avoid to fall in psychopaths webs.
