I am a lower senior in college. I am planning to graduate after the next Fall semester. I asked the question, "What will my last semester look like?" My response was 63.1.3 to 8. I know that on my final semester, I will have to put myself on a waitlist and fill out a senior form to secure my enrollment. I will only have to take two classes before I can graduate.I think the response meant that I got into the classes I need, which only accepts graduating seniors, and end up in group in the classes.

63.1.3 > 8

63.1 shows lack of commitment - delaying, and only dipping into a situation.
63.3 shows that someone does not 'employ' second best, or people who are far away.

The overall answer shows that despite trying to cross over (63) someone ends up staying in their current position (8).

In conclusion I'd say that to avoid remaining in your current position, you'll need to show a lot more commitment.

63:Everything is in place and with one last push and attention to detail you'll bear the fruits of your work
line 1 - you have a tendancy to rush at things, so hold back in the semester and allow yourself to grow into what is needed
line 3 - keep an eye on your emotions / feelings and be clear on how your own thoughts and the voices of others could be pulling you off into directions that you know are not right for you. If things do go astray, re-imagine how you can best achieve what you set out to do.
8: In the semester,be aware of the influence of people around you and be sure to balance your time between work, rest and play. Find people to support you who have a similar outlook to you.

Good Luck

Hexagram is, at first glance, a bit oddly placed: after all, shouldn't a hexagram about being "Already Across" and "After Completion" be placed at the end of the I Ching? I don't know, but perhaps the authors of the Yi were having a bit of fun, as in, "you think your done, well, there's more to come (and always will be) ... "

For me 63 is that time after a vacation, where you then have to face the indignity of being crammed on a plane, and that when you get home, that you're the one that's going to have to unpack and wash your dirty clothes from the trip. The trip is over, but ...

It seems to fit well with your situation. I'd suggest that you may want to look to doing whatever it is you need to graduate: to sign up for the classes and fill out the paperwork, etc. that let's you achieve that goal. Don't worry too much if they are the 'right classes' or if you'll have the perfect, fun-filled semester. That's not your task right now. Just hunker down and get through, while showing some interest and a bit of grace.

The related hexagram means you might want to put some focus on social interactions during this last semester, to look for associations, alliances, and people who have shared common interests. You don't have to be the class clown or the pushy extrovert to do this. Just look for ways that you can connect with others.

Best, David.

I like your analogy of 63 to the vacation and then still the work to be done afterwards. It reminded me of the Zen Proverb "After enlightenment you still have to do the laundry". Or the Jack Kornfield book " After the Ecstasy , the laundry".

Even when we believe we have a breakthrough moment we still have a duty to engage with the same mundane tasks that we had in front of us beforehand. This will ensure we realise the full potential of the breakthrough and integrate it into our world.

Just registered for Fall 2019. I was able to register for my classes without having to be put on a waitlist.

What will the coming Fall 2019 semester look like? 56.3.4 Travelling to 23 Stripping Away.
Line 3 says, "Traveller burns down his resting place. Loses his young helper. Constancy: danger." Will I find my classes difficult?
Line 4 says, "Traveller in a place to stay, Gains property and an axe. My heart is not glad." Will I do well to deserve the degree?

I would like to give an update on this post.

Last week, I received a syllabus from one of my classes. Reading through it, I saw that BPL 5100 Business Policy consists of three individual case study reviews, an online stimulation tool group assignment, two quizzes consist of MC, T/F, and essay questions, a "team company analysis", and a "team communication coaching session". Sounds like I will be busy this fall, which is why I am two 3-credit courses away from graduation.

How well will I do in BPL 5100? 19.2 Nearing to 24 Returning.
Line 2 says, "Influence nearing, good fortune. Nothing that does not bear fruit." Will I get some help from my peers?

I will make another update when I receive my syllabus for MKT 5750 Marketing Strategy.
