I'm in the process of making a kind of large-ish purchase. It's enough of an investment and I'm green enough on the subject that I've been consulting the Yi (and other experts) regarding the purchase.

There are several options available to me in terms of product and 'avenues', and I've been suggesting the different ways to go one by one to the Yi.

In one question about the prudence of pursuing one particular avenue the Yi gave me an answer that made me laugh. I'm putting it here to you because I'd like to see what people come up with. If you go with the first thing that comes to mind (which is how to read intuitively), I'm sure one of you will hit on the answer without knowing more about the question. If it doesn't happen immediately, I'll post a clue... a little more information about the question... in a day or two.

The Yi's answer...

7.1.3 to 11. Have fun!

Love ya,

Val

No takers? Not up for the challenge? But it's not really a challenge... it's so simple.

It SHOULD be obvious when I tell you the question was about Ebay.

Hi Micheline and Byzantine... you two brave souls... *grin*

I don't think either one of you has been here for one of the many times I've told the 10>27-ended-up-meaning-10:27pm story, so...

I'll tell it again. It's short. Years and years ago, I asked the Yi when my boyfriend would call again. They answered 10>27. I was sitting there staring into space trying to figure out how all those changing lines answered me question when the phone rang. It was my boyfriend. The clock just happened to be in the space I was staring into, and, as I recognized his voice, I also noticed what time it was... 10:27. After the initial shock, I had this image of the force behind the Yi sitting there was a smirk upon they're collective face.

That was a quick and profound lesson in the art of interpreting the Yi. I learned they'll get their point across anyway they can... in spite of any arbitrary rules men make for them through the ages.

This 7>11 answer was another one of those times. The question about eBay turned out to be irrelevant I learned later in the day, so it's no wonder they proffered an objective 'given' opinion of this latter day marketplace. 7>11 - Craps is my favorite game to play when I make the rare trip to Las Vegas. I can always double my money at the craps table. 7-11 - eBay is a crap shoot. It's a gamble.

Nope, Micheline... not exercise equipment. I prefer to work out with a trainer, so I belong to a gym. The only exercise equipment I have (or want) at home is a yoga mat and an ab roller.

Love,

Val

Hi Val,

U're right i've not been here long, but i shall keep your experiences in mind in e future so i have another angle to look at e i-ching from in e future when i do my readings. Often we are so used to a particular way of doing things that we never consider another angle. Ur experiences has been shocking and valuable to me thanks!
