a positive outlook?

at the risk of sounding totally desperate...I asked the i ching if I will be in a loving commited relationship with a man soon
I received 14.4.6 changing to 11

14.4 really confuses me because it seems to have so many different meanings depending on which translation you use so i am not sure how to apply it here

14.6 seems uplifting to me because I read it that not to worry, heaven is going to bless me and I will soon be at peace (11)

any help with 14.4 and am I reading into this right?
I know it is kind of a pathetic question but I couldn't resist asking

Hi alev,

Why 'pathetic'..? It's totally natural and one of our basic needs to be
in a relationship. I really don't get this idea some people have that
we need to apologise if we fancy a partner...

Lovely answer, and very promising. You've got great qualities as a
person (14), you've got a lot going for you. 14:6 shows great luck
and blessings coming your way. And 11 means peace, but it also
means interraction between male and female, union, happiness.

So our only 'issue' here is 14:4. As you said, this line varies a
bit in different translations. "Not over-extending and don't be
arrogant", "not one's own domain", "you are different from your
environment", "not boasting", "do not exhibit the grand state",
"keep your great resources under restraint". They all point more
or less in the same direction, namely, that you are different to
the people around you, you probably possess more than they do
(in whatever sense), but you need to remain very modest
nevertheless, and not let this stop you from accepting the
blessing of line 14:6, and forming a union. In other words, if
you have to contend with some differences, so be it, accept
them with modesty, and then you will soon have a very lovely
relationship indeed.

I know most everyone craves a relationship but it doesn't make it any less embarrassing to share questions like this, lol! but i figured if anyone would be understanding and nonjudgemental it would be the people here on this website!

You actually helped clarify 14.4 a lot although I am still unsure how this will play out in any upcoming romance. I'm not really sure what my "great resources or possesion" is in reference to this but I will keep this is the back of my mind to be modest in upcoming social events and in general. Unfortunately I don't seem to have any romantic prospects at the moment (that i know of), but this gives me hope.

That's also interesting what you said about 11 meaning an interaction or union, I hadn't thought of it that way before...

this reading has totally cheered me up, I have to say, I wasn't expecting it to be so positive especially given how down I have felt about my situation lately
