There is a problem which has been dragging from the past. Unfortunately, I cannot either have an impact on it, or solve it. I cannot also forget about it. The problem has been distracting me, I am stuck down to a nervous collapse several months ago.

I asked how I should act in this long-drawn situation taking into account the main thing, the core of it?

2.1.3. - 3

To tell the truth, I have not been lulled into complacency that the situation would solve one day, and the hex 3 tells about difficulties of growth. Apparently, I should overgrow this situation. On the other hand, the hex 2 tells about being receptive what I understand as being quite passive, avoiding by-movements.

I have been remaining passive for a long time, and I would say that sometimes I am close to force that all and tread down everything to know when it finishes and whether it finishes%

The problem has not resolved but my distraction has become far less.

Any thoughts Dragona?

So you stopped being bothered with it so much?
My cast before this one about the results was telling me to hang it on the poplar tree and move on but I cannot find it in me as it was that drop that overfilled the stress bucket. Then I got 40 UN and felt miss obedient.
I just hate it to the point of hating myself.
It is hard to talk in such abstract terms but speaking from this pit of experience, never listen to others advises if they do not resonate with your inner resolve.
For me, hex 2 was always about being passive, submissive one in the situation of waiting...cannot recall ever getting 2.5 so really no idea...except yellow was close color to gold, something of value perhaps, keep your wits about you, perhaps it says, my thought from reading about this line in Memorizing Threads. Reaching, basically...not much help, sorry.

2.1 Cool down. Stay calm. May not have yet gotten to the bottom of things or the situation may not be stable, may still be in flux.
2.3 See if there is something you are required to do to bring matters to completion. Act in such a way as to not create more drama. Try to not attract attention.

3. Difficulty at the beginning. Things are chaotic and you are trying to find or make some sense of order. You may need some outside help.

----
2.3 particularly makes me think you should not just sit on the sidelines and wait. Hexagram 2. Receptive doesn't mean be passive, more like "Pay attention - take it all in."

I got this combination once when I was waiting for a check.
2.1 I waited a long time until finally I realized waiting wasn't going to get me anything but more waiting. Turned out no one was putting any effort into getting me the check.

2.3 I called the person in charge and was told there was no problem, they simply needed me to sign a form.

3. Difficulty at the beginning surrounded the whole experience - both in getting the ball rolling and later when I sent the form in there were further snafus.

The whole situation was finally resolved but it wouldn't have if I hadn't recognized 2.3 as meaning there was something more I needed to do to complete the process. Also it seemed many of the key players were doing their job for the first time and were having Difficulty at the Beginning - they didn't know what their job, their 2.3 "service to the king" required of them.. Funny how often the hexagrams can apply to many different people in the situation.

Yes, the lines were 2.1.5. Now I am not allowed to correct them in my first post.

Good for you. My situation is not such. I will soon find out how big it is to be and worrying factor is a decision how to solve it which is very desperate one.
I am sure rosada will return with correction for the 5th line...
