A question regarding a travel. 51.4 to 24

My question is simple. I asked the IC if a vacation travel I planned, for the end of July and the beginning of August with another person, to a spot we already visited would take place. I got hex 51which I tend to interpret as bad news, perhaps due to my inexpirience or limited knowledge of the IC, but when hex 51 turns to 24 which means the return and coincidentally July is month number 7. Can I interpret this vacation travel as a certainty, that is we will make that travel. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this in my broken English, and also I forgot to ask for changing line number 4 of hex 51.

hex 51 doesnt only mean shock or fear, it can mean a sudden change, so this could be a change of plan for you
Line 4 says you're unprepared for this trip. everything is stagnated. something is not according to plan, maybe that person doesn't wanna go.

hex 24 is "turning point" or "renewal" so i think it predicts you will come up with a different plan.
line 4 of this hex also says that you'll return alone, in solitude, so most likely nobody will go with you. You might have to go on the trip alone if you still insist on traveling.

usually it's bad, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's neither good or bad, depend on the situation , almost all the hexagams are like that. Because Yi is actually willpower. Our own willpower shapes the situation too so not all the readings are 100% correct. Even when you receive something super bad like 29 unchanging, it still says "If you are sincere, you have success in your heart, and whatever you do succeeds". Because our willpower has the power to overthrow any dire situation or at least lessen it.

Hex 51 is not always bad news. It can mean getting aroused and getting moving. For this reason I think you have gotten a good reading for taking a trip. I don't know where altair's idea that you will return alone comes from. The reading doesn't say that, according to my understanding.

it's one of the methods to read iching from china, when you receive one changing line, to further understand the situation you need to read the corresponding changing line from the transformed hexagram. "returning alone" is in line 4 of hex 24.

I don't believe in the method of reading the corresponding changing line from the transformed hexagram. In my opinion, if Yi wanted to tell him that, it would have given him 24.4.

But I hope he will come back after the trip and let us know what happened!
