Hey, I'd appreciate some help with this one. Somebody's asked me to take over an online forum where I'm a moderator. Both the person and the forum are important to me, but I'm not sure I should say yes. Question: what do I need to know about agreeing to become the head honcho on the forum? A: 24.1

The Judgement talks about people - posters? - coming and going, but the Image cautions that the kings of antiquity -great forum moderators who are now deceased?- understood there were times when you just had to shut the whole thing down and give it a rest. So perhaps you are being guided how to not let the job take over your life. 24.1 maybe reassuring you that you will not make any unfixable mistakes, or perhaps you are being advised that posters may get a bit off track now and then and you must tolerate this and pull people back on track with out making a big issue of it. The art of knowing how tight a rein to keep on things. perhaps.

"Question: what do I need to know about agreeing to become the head honcho on the forum? A: 24.1 > 2."

Hex 24.1 is about returning quickly to the forum before you get lost in doubts and uncertainties, listen to others and follow their advice, taking over for the right reasons only leads to success so everything will turn out okay.

Hex 2 says to be receptive and take the job, all very good.

The fan yao (2.1) would concern me a bit.

I don't see 24.1 saying it's better to or not to accept the moderator offer, but that if you choose to accept it, it doesn't become something bigger than you are, i.e. 'head honcho'.
