My reading was very enlightening. I've always found the I Ching a source of both comfort and incredible wisdom. Sadly, through various issues over the past three years I have drifted from consulting its wisdom, however, I've found my path back once again to its comfort. For me, the I Ching has always hit the nail on the head and has once again shown me back to my inner path. Thank you.

Update on reading

I'm being very remiss regarding my reading! I received Hexagram 24, Returning and Hexagram 3, Sprouting. I will attach the PDF for anyone interested. Suffice to say, I have been through a marriage break-up and I now live in a different town to where I spent the last 40 years of my life. I guess my error was t believe all would remain the same and if the I Ching has taught me anything it is that life is constantly changing and it's how we accept and adapt to those changes that the Oracle can help us with.

Dear Mithras59,

Welcome back! You did not mention what your question was. Perhaps you just asked the I Ching to give you a picture of your life as it is now? Return and Difficulty at the Beginning would certainly seem apt for someone starting life over and the confusion around getting set up. I went through a similar experience a couple of years back and it has been fascinating to me to watch how I seem to be attracting the same types of people and the same situations - a warm-hearted neighbor, a talkative postman, even a mouse - as I had in my former life. It as if we're all doing some sort of theatrical and we keep getting the same plot and the same cast of characters only with each Return we can choose a little more consciously how we're going to play it.
You might get benefit from reading what Hilary has to say about line 24.5 in wikiwing.
Best wishes!

Hi Rosada, and thank you for your warm words of encouragement. Yes, it is strange how we seem to have similar environments drawn towards us. I guess the I Ching is all about cycles (funnily enough I'm just looking at getting a new bike!).I've been aware of the I Ching and it's incredible influence since 1975 when I bought my first book about it. I didn't ask a specific question as I know that when my mind is a bit to befuddled to ask a direct question the I Ching knows better than I what I'm looking for and the best answer to my current situation. The I Ching has always brought a balance to my life and I'm slightly annoyed with myself for veering away from it for a few years. Luckily it always greets me back as an old friend and never points out my foolishness (well, not for long anyway!).I became aware of Hilary via a her podcasts at it was one of those that led me to this site.
