Please help me interpret what I Ching is trying to say..

I've been teaching for 11 years as a school teacher. The stress I faced as a teacher has never been so great after my divorce in 2009. Although this year I cut my work load to half with only 4 classes, my school gave me tail end classes with discipline problems. Now with 4 growing kids who are also giving me disciplinary issues, I feel like quiting.

So, I consulted I Ching whether teaching is still suitable for me? I got Hex 52 with changing lines 2 and 4 which become Hex 50.

My next question is then, should I quit but become a full time private tutor? And I got Hex 48 with changing line 6.

Please help me as I can't make a decision.

Thanks..

Hex 50 and 48 both... :bows:

Hex 52, "the superior man does not permit his thoughts to go beyond the situation," im(inexperienced)o, suggests that maybe when feeling overwhelmed, it isn't the best time to make a decision like this. That, while line 2 (not everything can be fixed) and 4 (know your limits) confirm a sense that one person alone can't save the world, hex 50 suggests maybe that just coming to terms with that and a focus on reprioritizing will be reenergizing.

My next question is then, should I quit but become a full time private tutor? And I got Hex 48 with changing line 6.

I think Hex 48 affirms that, no matter what your choice, you have an enormous amount to offer, even more than you may feel right now.
