About a publishing deal query...

Hope you are all well. For once, I have no relationship questions!

It is about a book project I have been working on for months...I asked the following questions:

What will be X (my agent)'s feedback? 15.5>39

Not sure about this...will my agent ask me to make some changes that will help me get the deal?

Will X be able to get me a deal? 63.3>3

Sounds like there is a possibility here but that it might take longer than expected...

What kind of deal will X be able to get me? 22.3.6>24

This sounds positive. A good deal...?

Will it happen this summer? 48.2.5>15

Does not look like it, might happen after summer but I am not experienced in pin-pointing the time with the I-Ching...

Would anyone be willing to review my interpretations at all? The whole process of writing it has exhausted me and I am not eager to get things going...

Congratulations on having an agent. Many writers do not get that far. Both image, line, and resulting hexagram suggest editing will be needed.

Six in the fifth place means:
No boasting of wealth before one's neighbor.
It is favorable to attack with force.
Nothing that would not further.

Don't count on an advance before you get it. Words on a page are similar to troops in formation. Perhaps you could reduce the amount of editing needed by sending your agent a preview of your work.

I have actually sent him what he asked for when we had our first meeting a few months back - a proposal with a couple of chapters and I am now waiting to hear back from him.

So, editing will be needed...I guess I have to be ready to make changes and hear his feedback on what I have sent him so far.

No, it's not that. I approach a reading meditatively and spend so much time on it that it's difficult for me to do more than one. I hope quality makes up for lack of quantity.
