Accepting house offer to move in with sweetheart-- 64.5>6 auspicious or not (urgent)

HI all, I am sort of in need of urgent insight. My partner and I are moving in together after a year and several months of being happily together. We have just been offered a house, and we generally feel good about it, however the timing is earlier than we expected and there are a few other factors that might create some difficulties later on. I asked the Yi whether it would be auspicious to accept the offer for this particular house, whether it's the right move to make, and received 64.5>6. The 6 bothers me a bit-- is there some conflict/hurdle to get through?-- but the 5th line of 64 seems quite positive. Can anyone offer their insight? I'm feeling generally nervous about this, having been through a quasi-divorce and wanting to make the right decisions for this relationship, including the timing of the steps we're taking. Thanks so much!

Hey Folle, Hexagram 6 would just be your own conflict about the decision. Both Hex 64 and Line 5 say time to move forward and leave the past behind although it's good you are thinking about what you are doing. - Liss

Hi Folle,
it seems to me like you drew a very appropriate and auspicious reading. :) All in all, I think the yi is saying this place will do fine.
64 reminds me of commitment and the dangers around it. but in changing line 5 the little fox seems to have figured out how to get over the ice with all intact.

Its a big step to move in together, so it's smart to get really clear with your partner and others involved around those factors that could create difficulties later on. That's the 6 hex, says the oracle, "A wise person should plan and prepare cautiously at the beginning, in order to prevent litigation."

However I feel the yi likes this particular house, and if you truly want to "cross the river" and commit to it, you will be successful.

The immediate idea I get from this is that if you go through with this you will face conflict, with your partner and others, during the act of putting everything in order. Think of everything you have to do: money-wise, moving-wise, etc. My guess is it's a bit par for the course when two people move into a new place.

However, line 5 implies that after this tumultuous period of moving is over it's smooth sailing from there.

Just wanted to thank those of you who responded-- your encouragement is much appreciated! We have taken the house and feel good about it. As one of you predicted, we've had some minor tension and conflicts about logistics-- again, this happened faster than we expected and we've had to make some rearrangements in our lives to take it-- but the conflicts have been ironed out quickly and with good humor and we're excited to take this next step together. I appreciate this community and the wisdom and support it provides. Thanks again.
