Advice on reading

Hello everyone,

I did a reading recently and am trying to get some advice on what it means.

I posed a question about an upcoming course I’m taking to kickstart my career which has stalled for years. I’m currently unemployed.
The reading I got was 62.1.3.4 to 24.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

I'd say either you won't follow the course for long or it won't have any lasting influence on your career. So you'll come back to your previous conditions soon.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I must say I was surprised by your thoughts as I had a different impression after reading about the hexagrams online.

Previous conditions is probably not where I want to be. LOL

What's your interpretation? Might be helpful to get that context.

Hi,

I read it as I would need to first manage my expectations and take small steps to realize my goals. The keywords I came across frequently from what I've read online suggest that approach.

Yeah 62 comes up for me in some form with work questions a lot. I agree it has a lot to do with managing expectations, generally I think 'small gains' are the best that's possible here. I think the reading suggests not to be cautious when approaching this, perhaps remaining aware of whether or not it will be fruitful before you continue past the point of no return- from courses I've taken you can drop out for a full refund within the first 2 weeks. 24 does seem to suggest changing your mind and perhaps pursuing another option for starting your career.

Non Yi-related, maybe there are ways to teach yourself or learn without the use of a course?

Thank you for your thoughts.

The course is funded mostly by a government program and there is no penalty if I elect to drop out mid way (but with valid reasons of course). Perhaps this is what the reading is trying to tell me? I might just drop out of it along the way for a career opportunity. Let's hope so!
