I asked iching advise about letting go of my bf, who told me he doesn't love me any more and I received hex 39.5 to hex 15. So I guess it's telling me to ask for others' advises. I am really suffering a lot and I don't a way out. Any thoughts? Or does anyone have different thoughts about the hex I got? Thanks!!

39.5 speaks of help coming when one is in the depths of despair. There is a light at the end of the tunnel (and it's not an oncoming train). These could be from family, friends, or your own internal reserves.

15 as Hilary says, you are coming face to face with your authentic self. It is important to continue on this path even through difficulty. Though the present moment is painful, the lessons of this time will serve you well in the future.

It makes a lot of sense.

In the sense of despair, I asked iching: Does __ still love me or not?

I got hex27.3.4.5 to 13. What does it really trying to say because I am not sure the person its saying in the line is indicating me or my bf? Please give some thoughts.. I'd appreciate it

I Ching doesn't respond well to yes -or- no questions. Your cast seems to be more like a picture of where you are at the moment.

27 generally speaks of nourishment -- not only food but spiritual nourishment and the patterns of your thoughts and fantasies. In a difficult break-up, it is very easy to indulge in fantasies of getting back together (or taking revenge!), or concocting elaborate schemes to make everything wonderful again. Needless to say, it is important to simply focus on doing the best you can in the situation, staying true to your higher nature, and letting the situation unfold as it will rather than trying to force an outcome.

None of the changing lines speak of one acting from a place of strength. Line 3 is the most problematic -- indulging in "the junk food" of incorrect thoughts -- self-pity, blame, projection, pleasure for its own sake. "Ten years" are lost once you open that bag.

Line 4 -- a line without a settled interpretation. "Reverse nourishment is lucky. A tiger watching intently, about to give chase, is not blamed." I read this as "One is strengthened by contemplation; in this practice one is further aided by higher powers." (The tiger does not act, it watches in a blameless sense. Watching, then acting when the time is right, is what tigers do. Compare the first line, where one watches incorrectly, with envy, thus losing one's own strength.)

Line 5: Staying true to yourself even in the most unusual and difficult situations. You are not in a situation where you can actively help others, you must take care of yourself and attend to your immediate needs rather than launching on new projects. In doing so others are strengthened by you.

Hex 13 "Sameness with people": finding a balance in your life between self and others; moving beyond a point of holding some people, relationships, or circumstances to be of more value than others. Everything must be in the open -- without secret agreements or reservations.

Whether or not the object of your inquiry loves you, and you do or do not continue in this relationship, you are moving from a circumstance of relative weakness into one of strength founded on relationships among equals.
