Recently I started chatting to a man online in the town I’m potentially moving to. He gave me his number and said call when I get there and we could meet for a coffee at the local beach cafe. I’m not there yet but my intuition suggested I call him anyway so I did. We chatted briefly and I told him I was heading up this Friday and I had organised share accommodation until I found a permanent rental.
The next day he messaged me saying he lives on 5 acres as does his son and daughter in law in a separate dwelling and the son also has a Airbnb cabin he could reopen (closed for Winter) if I’d like to rent it for a few days.
That’s actually a much better option for me than the shared accommodation so I booked it
I kind of wonder what this mans motivation is as I’d already mentioned I was okay re accommodation.
What do I need to know about his motivation for organising this for me

Actually when I thought about the trust of Hex 47 once you mentioned it here I wondered whether it was him not trusting my words. I’d said I’ll be in contact once I had moved so he’s made sure he at least does get to meet me.
