I suddenly lost part of my taste & olfactory senses last night. I had a mild cold for several days, which is common in this season.
I'm afraid I have coronavirus, and am waiting to be tested at home. I also fear that my family are infected. On the other hand, I got interviewed for a job that pays much better than my current one and I need money, so if I lose the opportunity I'll be in trouble.

I asked if I'll be tested COVID-19 positive and got 24.1.2> 7.
The answer shows the need to rest & recovery- OK. I take it as a yes.

I couldn't imagine how scary it is in real life.
What do you think?

The answer looks like if you are it's not a big deal, you return back to normal quickly.

This answer may also be saying you return from the conviction you have Covid quite quickly.

The 7 would make me think there was an infection of some kind you are fighting off. The infection doesn't look like it's going to win from 24.1.2.

It really doesn't look to be a hugely worrying cast but I agree it does seem to suggest resting in line 2.

Hi marybluesky,

"Am I Covid-19 Positive?"
24.1.2 to 7 ~ It looks like it's a mild case; lay low and rest for a week.

So sorry to hear that this has happened! I'm with Trojina and becalm ~ I hope you get well soon!

Some friends of mine put me onto this Harvard Study regarding the "D-hammer," which is a term coined by the researchers for taking a short run of a high vitamin D3 dosage, 50,000 IU, for 2-3 days. The impact is to dry-up the mucous receptors in your throat, sinuses and chest: I did it for airline travel a couple of months ago, and I really felt like it helped?

However, I am not a doctor, so be sure to check with your physician, first?

From Liu Ming's "Changing Zhouyi":

24 Fu Return
Supreme blessing; going to and fro, no affliction; Friends come; nothing inauspicious; Following one's Dao; in seven days there is a Return; Favorable for going forward.
line 1 ~ Returning before going too far. No regret. It is most auspicious.
You have slightly overextended yourself, but stopped in time to avoid mishap. It is easy to Return home (familiar resources). Turning back avoids feelings of failure and regret.
line 2 ~ Return contented. Auspicious.
Good fortune arises from a careful and timely Return. As you advance you adjust your strategy, keeping the goal of Return in mind. With this broad, but cautious overview, you make satisfactory progress.
7 Favorable for an elder; no misfortune.

Take great, good care of yourself!

🙏🙂🙏

Agree with Trojina - you have it but it won't be a big deal for you

I don't think the reading says she has it or doesn't have it, I didn't mean that. I said 'if' you have it. Whatever it is, a cold or the virus it seems to be recoverable in quite a short time.

There is no cast, nor any divination of any kind that will tell you for sure if you have the virus. Only the test can tell you that,

Hi

When I get 24 most of the times she is telling me to turn away from that idea.

So, playing the witch, I say you don’t have it and it’s just a standard cold or flu.

Are you aged?
As above it was mentioned good fortune for The elderly..

I am 31 Olga.
Ok, then maybe not so much good fortune ;)

Although one time I was late for a film screen in a place where they normally close the door after the film has started (not a standard movie theatre). Since it was a long trip I asked if they would let me in. It said good fortune for the elder woman, not so much good fortune for the young boy.

I got on the bus and arrived at the place when the film had already started but the door was.. open!
I get in and a young guy tries to stop me and says the door should have been closed, someone had probably left it open inadvertintin?titnly.
Someone else jumped in and said that since I was already inside, I might as well get into the theatre.. so good fortune for me, I was not much older than you are now ;)

Hi Trojina,

The Judgment for 7 in the WB seems vague, but I was quoting from Liu Ming's "Changing Zhouyi" which says:

07 Shi Army
Favorable for an elder; no misfortune.

Hilary has:

Hexagram 7, the Army
'The Army: with constancy.
Mature people, good fortune - no mistake.'

Also, in Field's "Duke of Zhou Changes" he has:

7 Shi Army
Omen of good fortune for an older man. No harm will come.

I included it in the reading because of the concern for family members?

I totally agree with you that getting a test is the only definitive way to know if you have Covid-19, or any medical issue of concern? 😷

You question circles around whether you'll be tested positive for COVID. Your unspoken questions seem to lie in your fears for self, family and your uncertain future if you are unable to gain this new job opportunity. 24 <> 7 means something like 'reversing from your grief' and for me relates more to the deeper concerns that you have wrapped up in your question. Perhaps directly addressing your expressed fears.

Hex 24 denotes a time of restoration, the beginning of a new time following a period of collapse / splitting apart (Hex 23). The image offers guidance that in this time of renewal that your energies need to be conserved and channeled in the right direction. 24.1 calls you towards recognising early that your energies have dispersed in the wrong direction. They are leading you to a place of insecurity. 24.2 calls for you to tread no further in that direction, to about turn and to listen to other stories - these will bring you good fortune.

The nuclear force of your reading is Hex 2 and looks to be guiding you towards a new security through being receptive to a new realisation.

... or it may mean nothing like this at all for you.

Well, I'll receive the test's result today or tomorrow.

They say new symptoms may be experienced after others are gone. My taste and olfactory senses have improved; the fever and fatigue come and go but have diminished all in all; however the diarrhea is started. I also feel a lack of oxygen and have to open the windows.

14 days of quarantine is very long. And you can end it only if you have no symptoms for 3-4 days in a row.
That said, a slight fever or runny nose are common for me in cold seasons or allergic atmospheres; which means even if my highly probable coronavirus heals, I may have to stay at home forever if I'm to have no fever or runny nose for several days in order to go out :)

Lets see. I'm frustrated.

I hope you get well soon Mary!
In my case, major symptoms continued for at least a month, coming and going. And secondary symptoms (mainly fatigue) lasted for many more months. My advice: have some aspirin handy. If you feel a strange heart-beat, breathe deep, rest, and take some aspirin.
Perhaps 24.1.2 > 7 shows the characteristic of the illness to appear gone for a few days then hit back again.

Thank you all friends🌸

@diamanda , you isolated yourself for how long?
I know that staying at home is the ideal thing to do anyway, but as a COVID-19 positive person you must have no contacts. That's why I ask.

I isolated for 4 months, but that's easier for some to do than for others. I was lucky as I could work from home throughout. I'm still very careful because re-infections are possible. So I'm not sure I can advise you anything, you know your personal circumstances better!

Well I'm in my seventh day of isolation.

The fever episodes are shorter and less recurrent, and so is the fatigue.
I have about 85-90% of my taste & 70% of my olfactory sense.
The rest is like a mild cold: a runny nose and a little phlegm.

By the way Mary do you have any clue where you may have picked it up ? Also Diamanda do you have any hunches about where you may have picked it up ?

I ask out of curiosity I guess one can't be sure. Someone near me who had it, and it hit him hard and he's only about 40, knew other colleagues had tested positive so presumably for him it was work. I wonder how risky supermarkets are. I'm not comfortable at times in shops where people get really close. The big supermarkets here stopped checking the number of people allowed in at a time as they used to so now they get too packed IMO.

Well as we're going through the second big wave, many people caught coronavirus all of a sudden. Still many others have cold and influenza.

Several days before the symptoms appeared in me a family member of mine had cold but no special symptom of coronavirus. Maybe it was him, maybe not. Apparently I'm the only one who has contracted the virus from him if that's the case.
On the other hand, I wouldn't think it was coronavirus if I didn't lose part of my taste & olfactory senses, and considered it to be a cold as well.

I wear mask outside, and have no idea if I've been infected out of the home.

Glad to hear you are recovering Mary.

I was sick with it in the first half of December. High fever, pounding headache around brain stem, weakness, lost sense of taste for 3 days, pneumonia started in left lung. After 15 days most symptoms were gone, then it turned into another 7 days of general weakness.

I have no health insurance so had to nurse myself. I found that doing deep breathing exercises while leaning forward or in prone or 'cobra' position helped greatly.

Mend well, rest when weak.

The widespread outbreak in Wuhan is listed as occuring around Dec 31st.

But, Many people were sick before getting treatment, or without treatment such as myself. I work in a high-rise building where many world travelers live, I probably caught it there.
It was very bad.

Mary: I believe it's a good thing you've got a runny nose (I didn't and believe I got pneumonia).
Moss Elk: Sorry you had to go through this. In the UK we're supposed to have national care, but, for covid they told everyone to just stay at home 'unless you can't breathe'. Even when I called them with breathing and heart issues.
Trojina: I caught it in March, either on the tube or at work. There were no masks or measures back then, and I could hear dry coughs everywhere around. Washing hands and cleaning surfaces obviously didn't protect me.
Olga: I've seen possible outbreaks/cases in newspapers online even since summer 2019.

diamanda, one of our relatives died in early November 2019 of symptoms very similar to coronavirus.

In mid-October he had a heart attack, which is common in his immediate family. He was in very good shape otherwise: sportive and very active. He had recovered fairly well after several days and was able to speak. He then suffered from a very sever lung infection and kidney failure. All that took 20 days.
His death shocked all of us.
