Am I going to have to move because of this water problem? and Yi's answer, 23.6 to 2

I live on the top floor in a Apartment, each one is individually owned, and mine is being managed by a property managing business. This past weekend i noticed some brown spots in my bedroom on the ceiling, and they seemed to be spreading. This morning I called the Security gate to ask him to call the office and tell them there may be a roof leak. I called the property manager and they are saying that if the roof is leaking then it is not their problem, I don't even know if someone came to look at it, because i could not call out of work, and I had to go in early because it's a day after a Holiday. I asked yi, Did someone come to look at the water leak, and received, 55.1.4 > 15

Then I asked am I going to have to move because of this water problem and yi answered 26.3 to 2

Yesterday I kept getting readings of 22, several times actually, and I kept seeing a comment about water, but I was not really focused on the leak yesterday, but I was talking about the possibility of moving from this area. 22.3.5 to 20 and 20.1.3.5 to 22'

Honestly I can't see the answer to either question. Almost all the prior readings revolve around relationships. Is the i ching geared mainly for relationships?

23 Stripping away. No harvest in having a direction to go.
23.6 A ripe fruit not eaten. Noble one gets a cart, Small people strip their hut.

2 Earth. Space cleared, move freely, enter the new space, start planting.
I got this from the wikiwing, and someone had posted a comment about a similar experience ( In experiences this has meant that on two occasions something structural in our apartment was collapsing: old plaster walls. Fortunately, I found in time another place for us to live for several months, so that the necessary repairs could be done. After that, we moved back into our apartment) What do y'all think?

I don't think so. The Judgment says,

Splitting Apart. It does not further one
To go anywhere.

suggesting no movement. In the top line you are in a superior position, because, as a renter (so I understand) someone has a legal obligation to provide you with a roof that does not leak. The property manager is not managing correctly if they do not notify the responsible person when maintenance problems arise. Ask if that person has been notified. If nothing is being done, you might seek advice from the housing authority in your area. Hexagram 23 looks like an apartment building, and there your are at the top line -- a picturesque casting.

I believe you are right, because I finally heard from the Property Owners Association and they said the leak was being fixed, and when they were sure that it was, they would repair the ceiling. I don't think the property manager made any attempt to contact them, because I had said that I had called them. They seem to have the motto, if you don't respond they will go away...I miss the prior owners because they were prompt in taking care of anything that came up.

I also am the victim of a leaking roof, and that motivated me to respond to your thread. My section of the east coast is apparently receiving the rain that usually falls in the midwest. Nearly daily rains. The leak wasn't in the house, but on a porch outside. This week on a rare day without rain, I hoisted a ladder onto the roof and found the probable site of the problem -- poor workmanship from 40 years ago. I patched it, but had to wait for another rain to determine if I had fixed it. Today, another rain, and so far no leaks. It can be very difficult to fix a built-up roof, but a slanted shingled roof shouldn't be too difficult. Good luck to you and your roofers.
