This was the 4th in a set of questions I posed to the Yi
and I found it incredible - especially with Hilarys essay
on 39 and the turnaround - harness the power of the mountain
by being like a stream.

And I dont want to make anyones head ache by posing the other
questions - but I put them down to show the gist of the enquiry
I was engaging in with the Yi

will i do better (generally)in London 64
will i do better outside of London 33.2.3>6
will i do better keeping london and outside of London going ie it all of it 4.2.5.6>8

and then my question

I am downsizing not to downsize but to expand bitter out of Uk market
thats why I asked whether my motivation for posing the questions was
coming from grandiosity or is a true doable venture. May be necessary in
fact uk markets crowded and competitive

but that casting 39.1>63 spoke to like no other casting before (except when
i was 20 and asked if my estranged boyfriend would come back and got 24
- and he was at the door at that precise moment!( How the advent of mobile phones
has mucked things up:)

but i have had foot and lower leg problems due to being afraid to move forward due
to the events of past 4 years - and 39 speaks of this. Also 63 described by LiSe as a mind like nature was beautiful:bows:

I think it has become my favourite hexagram whereas I would have classed it negative
before this casting. Tell us your favourite hexagram - I also like 24 :D

I wish I understood this thing about favourite hexagrams. Maybe because I don't have much experience with YI but to me trying to pick a favourite hexagram is like being asked which is my favourite tooth. Um. I like and need all of them for what they are for. lol

63. It was the first I understood. Also, why don't Brits spell hexagram as hexagramme? Maybe they do when Americans aren't looking? :)

Pocossin if you understand 63 then please explain it. By the way why
do you Yanks spell programmes as programs?

This Brit-ess run her car battery flat today with hazard lights left on
and was helped by a French man an australian and a polishgreek!"

Explanation won't do. You need a visionary experience. Over thirty years ago I was walking through the den with Legge open to hexagram 63 when bright sunlight fell upon the page, and suddenly I saw THE FOX! Awesome! Life changing! Viewed under the right condition the hexagram itself (not the appended text) looks like an abstract drawing of a fox. Bradford thinks (I imagine) that I suffer from terminal pareidolia. Nevermind, I'd rather have that fox than Jesus in a potato chip. Everything I believe about the Yi follows from that one insight, and if you want more of this secret stuff, you'll have to join Reading Circle. A summary of my cogitations is in the Jewel Box. I'll say not more. My lips are sealed.

By the way why do you Yanks spell programmes as programs?

Because we pronounce it that way :)

This Brit-ess run her car battery flat today with hazard lights left on

How many men does it take hopex to start her car? Three. One with a car with a charged battery, one with jumper cables, and one to find the other two.

Now, what does the rich symbolism of leaving hazard lights on and getting three men mean? :)
