This answer is one of those like "what the hell does it matter?"

The question came to me from a reflection on my current relationship with my almost ex-husband, a good boy, loving and with a calm but immature character, he never became an adult and this was the main reason that led me to not be more in love with him. Obviously there are also other dynamics in this situation, but now I don't want to get too far.

Anyway, this morning I was thinking about this: but am I ready for a relationship with a mature man as I am, let's say in line with me?
Answer 44.2> 33

Don't hide that I was upset. For two reasons mainly:
1. yet another 44 is often coming out on the most disparate questions;
2. in general the two hexagrams are not the easiest and having them both made me feel uncomfortable.

Line 2 of the 44 speaks of a fish not suitable for guests. See this fish as an element of low quality not to offer those who approach socializing.

I see this in a pessimistic way: I, who am not fit. Something that is still wrong with me.
Or it means waiting for people who want to stop, not people passing through like they are guests.

I am on the high seas with the understanding of this line.

Can someone help me?

Thanks!
F.

Hello Fortuny!
I read it as enjoy what you have in the moment & don't complicate the things. It's time for retreat. I guess the mature man hasn't yet entered your life. Anyway there's "no mistake".

In 44.2, what one has is good enough for them alone. (single serving portion size of fishy snack)
It is not enough to share with others.

You're saying the answer means I'm not enough
for a mature relationship at my maturity level? (or of my personal evolution ... I don't know if I can explain myself well)

So I'm fit to be alone because I'm not good enough at something?

No, I am not saying that.

I was just explaining what the line means in general. You'll have to figure out how it applies in your situation.
(but I think Rosada offered a good possible explanation.... maybe time/energy/enthusiasm/apartment size...etc is not great enough to share at the moment.)
