Am I Strong Enough to Handle it Well? 30uc

I'm thinking about stepping in a risky situation that may affect me in financial, professional and emotional ways.
I have never done something similar. While I know my reasons and feel excited, I have only a general schema before me. I don't exactly know how to reach my goals, and the situation can seriously affect my feelings.

I asked if I am strong enough to handle it & got 30uc.
Both image & judgement seem hopeful:

"Meriting persistence, Fulfillment, Attend to the cow, Promising" [judgement by Bradford].

I should take care of the process and move forward.

30 has imagery associated with it about fire clinging to its fuel. Fuel is a source of strength for fire, so maybe that's relevant? Does the idea of fuel ring any bells? Making sure not to run out of it?

I also wonder if a general schema might not be enough. The Image says, "Great People with continuous light illuminate the four regions" - sounds like shining light into every nook and cranny. Hilary once compared 30 to a detailed spreadsheet.

I don't think it sounds like "no," though, to me anyway. Maybe it's suggesting how to be strong enough, and stay that way.

Recently, I asked almost the exact same question and also got hexagram 30. I asked if I should create and upload a comedy video but my real question was would I be strong enough to deal with any negative stuff. I'm not sure what "tending to the female cows" though.

It might depend some on the specifics, like I'm not sure if you notice any clear ways the imagery could connect to this project/opportunity (or whatever it is) like what the cow might be for example. The Judgement, among the varying translations, seems to come back to following the righteous path and with the big "if" around that (meaning if it is followed without deviation), then success. I wonder if reading the challenges of the different lines and thinking of how suited you are to those specific challenges of temperament or circumstance (or what tools you would use of fall back on to help you when it became difficult) then you could assess more how suited you are for it. On a feeling level, it does seem positive. Like following a light and/or becoming the light yourself. If the true spark of inspiration is there, I think this could be a yes!

29. The Abyss is made up of two water trigrams, and warns against thrashing about sinking ever deeper. It advises staying calm and learning how to go with the flow.
30. Clarity is made up of two fire trigrams, like one ball of fire, one sun, is forever followed by another just as one day is followed by another and thus a feeling of taking things one day at a time.
Together the pair suggests that through repetition we learn how to stay calm during dark times and see the light to keep moving forward.
As a response to your question I think it's advice for how to manage this new opportunity.

Answering someone else’s post on 30UC in the reading circle made me think back to this reading; I feel like it’s saying you are strong enough and maybe encouraging you to know that, yes, this will challenge you and bring a really full spectrum of experience so to go into it allowing for that, also knowing there are great potential gifts.

I don’t know if any of this will feel relevant to your query but this was how I responded to the other post and how I see 30:

“30 always sounds to me like really fully living life as it is. Weeping, burning, dying, drumming, singing, marching out, experiencing the clear golden light of good fortune and connection with source; all of this can be very beautiful but it also takes courage and generates periods of doubt or fear as well. For some reason I read this as thinking about what your own North Star is. The direction your life will go has a lot to do with what you focus on as that star and it will feel more meaningful and even perhaps safer if you plug into the source of a higher power.

30 UC always feels promising to me because there’s potential to really develop something by getting into the full beauty and mess of life (and its commitments, “raising” them), not because it’s always smooth but because you’re really experiencing the spectrum of human experience, allowing what comes and goes. Maybe meditate on what you’re in devotion to or in service of? Then find ways to express that devotion both big and small.”

I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts on what 21 UC ends up being like for you. I can’t quite figure out what to make of or expect with 21 although the way I’ve personally experienced it has tended to be getting to the heart of things and somewhat blunt.
