This morning I made an "alternate" list of Hexagram names using the Tenth of the Ten Wings, Tsa Kua. In some cases I had to simplify what was in the text, but taking care not to take great liberties. In others it was basically a "copy/paste". But this list should help if you ever feel "stuck" and need a second opinion on the meaning of a hexagram. One that aligns with traditional Chinese conceptions. Hope it helps!

This is a nice project you have given yourself. Some of the names line up for me and some don't, but I still like it and I can see where a secondary list like this could come in handy for depth but not core meanings. "6. Hate" is interesting to me.. as far as I know, and I don't know a lot, but the meaning of this hexagram's name is something like Litigation, Conflict, Argue etc. Hate is a baggage that seems to naturally come with arguing etc. .. so that interests me in a different way, along side the traditional concepts I am trying to understand.

Appreciate the exercise MrYou1.

Thanks!

And yeah, this is really meant as a supplement, not at all to replace the already well-developed titles of the Hexagrams. If you have the Wilhelm/Baynes translation you can easily see where I got these from (the Tenth Wing), I've just simplified them to the same standard as what is typical of Hexagram titles.
