another project

I need an advice, it is about one of my projects...i find myself in some birocratical problems, but I have two politicians as possible help.
So I asked about each other; May I count on #1? answer; 55.1>62 may I count on #2? hexagram 2 unchanging
According to this I think that first is much better choice, I think that hexagram 2 unchanging mean that second will stay passive...but also hex 62 as resultant mean that only little things can be resolved

please help

I think the 55.1 > 62 is the better choice. The 62 does NOT mean that only little things can be resolved.

With hexagram 2 unchanging, at first you go astray and later you find guidance. So that is not a good first choice if you want good help right away.

I think you may find #2 more receptive and supportive in the long run. Although the line text of 55.1 is highly favorable, hexagram 62 suggests that #1 may fly off when you need further help.

I disagree with what Pocossin said about 62 meaning the man will fly off when you need him. I don't interpret the relating hexagram that way. I take it to usually indicate the context, the background, your own state of mind as you were asking the question. I think 55.1 is saying that the man will be an expert, the best person to help you.

That's OK, Ginnie. Yamabushi has been betrayed in the past, and my main concern is that he put his trust only in those who are absolutely trustworthy, however unattractive or limited they may otherwise appear to be.

new problems; today I recieve a call from secretary of politician #3, it seems that rumor spread quickly. He wants that I come to his office in wendsday...problem is that I dont know what does he want, I only know that I cant trust him. But I think that he can mean only troubles.

So I asked; what does he want from me? hex 56.1.2.5.6>43
what should I do with him? hex 27.2.3>26
is he danger for my project? hex 63.2.5>11
is my project in any kind of danger? hex 5 unchanging

according to 56 I think that he wants to make troubles, second questions mean I think that I have to make conversation with him, not to expect any kind of help and continue with project.
I think that 63.2.5>11 mean that he is not danger for the project. And I dont think that my project is in any kind of danger according to 5 but i will have to wait.

Please, help!

My take:

What does he want? Small attractive ways to get rid of you.
What should i do? Be careful with your words and diplimotically refuse his offer.
Is he a danger to my project? Think of evil that may come from his proposal and work for the good of the people.
is my project in any kind of danger? Doesnt seem so, Eat drink and be merry.

today in the morning secretary of #3 called me to say that he is sick and to ask can I come next wendsday.

Now I wonder was this meaning of 63.2;


Six in the second place means:
The woman loses the curtain of her carriage.
Do not run after it;
On the seventh day you will get it.

63.2 means that you will lose some little bit of privacy for a short period of time, but it is not a dangerous situation. There is a feeling of exposure, but it is more an embarrassment than a danger.

Well, the I Ching does mention 7 days, so maybe it is connected in some way. I have never found there to be any danger in line 63.2.

I think the important thing is not to let politician #3 confuse you. You have details to keep track of, things to do that you must not neglect. Whatever politician #3 wants from you, it will be over quickly, so don't let him distract you.

Don't ask politician #3 for anything. But the I Ching is saying that perhaps he has the power to offer you something that you would do well to take. That is, you don't want to take it, but it might be best for you if you did take it. This complicates things a little bit and makes waiting difficult (because of the suspense -- what is this all about?). But as we saw above, there is no danger to your project from this man.

well, meeting delayed for another tuesday, so it does not mean 7 days for delayed conversation...so it is obviously 7 day of lost privacy...
